Re: Allied: Salerno

Okay, seems to work fine for me. The allies have a real tough time of it. I have not noticed any glitches. But, I am into playing the game and seeing how the game feels for play. I like it a lot, maybe even better than the original PZ Corps. The game engine works well and its actually entertaining w...

Re: Allied: Sicily

Latest Beta seems good to me. Tough for the Allies at least for me, which is good. Wish I had more time to spend playing than I do. Very nice game and has that good old feeling of a great game to play.

An area well underdeveloped by many wargames

:) Seems to work well as I have only got to play a few from the 1939 games. This is an area of wargaming not really dealt with much by other companies. Seems better than PZ Generals attempt at it. One can actually get more feel from the time frame by the lack of equipment/ arms that later war years ...

Stuck Stalingrad

Using the PBEM the Stalingrad has hung up not allowing turn 3 to take place. SSPeiper and I have been doing this game and I hate to let it go. But in case someone else has had this happen, I wanted to give a possible heads up on this issue.

A great game that will revive the wargamers spirits

I have been busy and wish I could have been more helpful. The game has morphed into a real contender as one of the best turn based wargames out there. Growing up with Avalon Hill and SPI games I love the simplicity and yet wonderful feel that reminds me of those sorts of games. Keep the fire burning...

I believe it was from the new saved scenarios

Just to be sure I will remove all older campaigns and start again. Let you know if it crashes. Love the game though. So it's not a pain to start over.

Great game so far.

Despite the crash as mentioned earlier. The game is pretty neat and the improvements are on the right track. I did not need the arrow tracking my move and some of the other enhancements were more eye candy than real game issues. I have been really busy and not able to give the game the time I would ...

Crash problem when purchasing new units

I have noticed twice now a game crash or freeze when playing the achen scenario under .999 update. I deployed units from the previous campaign scenario (Norway) enter then begin game. Made all the moves I wanted then went to purchase new units and the game crashes at that point. It has happened more...

Great game!

The game is very good and I have had a time or two with some of the scenarios. Norway just about did me in a couple times. This is one of the best games of its kind ie pz general, out there. I will get more into it as I get more time to really play the thing. But, it is a likeable game and bound to ...

I think the game speed and graphics are fine

Given the type of game this is, a turn base somewhat abstract historical game, it is fine. If folks want more stand out units some alternative choices in the game menu might be an answer. Example: NATO or Old Style Counters such as those of Panzer Blitz. For me, I love the graphics as they are and t...

First Impressions

This is Panzer General with a facelift ! If you have ever played panzer general it will take you less than a minute to figure out how to play this game. I started with first thing on the menu and found that the game play was so much like panzer general that, other than knowing where the menu items h...
