Re: Exporting battles to FOG2 and back to FOGE too much work?
Several people have stated in other threads on the forums that the whole process takes less time than it does for Total War to load up a battle. That's good news! One question I forgot to ask. Can you use FOG2 to resolve only your own nation's battles, or which ever battle that is happening? And ca...

Stuart3 did.
Pauses or closes? You're saying re-opens and stuart3 said closes. So apparently does not go into pause but closes.
If it just paused, that would save some time and work.

Re: Exporting battles to FOG2 and back to FOGE too much work?
You could re-open FOGE while FOG2 is running, but I don't know what you think you might gain by doing so. Not gaining anything re-opening while the other program is running. But would gain speed if neither program needs to be closed (or close automatically) and opened. FOGE closes automatically whe...

Re: Exporting battles to FOG2 and back to FOGE too much work?
Can you in say for example Total War games or XCOM games alt tab between combat and strategic map? No. Neither can you in this one. You do not have to close or open any programs, you just click export, and FOG2 opens up, when you are finished with the battle you continue in FOGE. You didn't get the...

Exporting battles to FOG2 and back to FOGE too much work?
I was considering to buy FOGE, but its combat turned me off. However, exporting battles into FOG2 looked like a solution. But watching videos about the game, I learn this exporting battles and importing results is so much work it makes gameplay a pain. Question 1. Do you need to open and close FOG2 ...

Re: The Battle of Neva - why no Finns and Norwegians?
You're welcome. I'm divided what to suggest. If I suggest renaming Ugrians as Karelians, then that would bring Karelians in the battle, but would wrongly portray them as belonging into Novgorodian army (and Karelians playing the game would possibly hate me). It might be the simplest solution though....

Re: The Battle of Neva - why no Finns and Norwegians?
This page has a map of spoken Uralic languages https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uralic_languages. Traditionally Uralic languages have been grouped in 3 main groups: Finnic, Ugric and Samoyed. Ugric has 3 languages, Samoyed has 4, Finnic has about 20 to 30 languages (depends what are classed as language...

Re: The Battle of Neva - why no Finns and Norwegians?
With the Novgorodian army there would be various Finnic groups rather than Ugrians, as several Finnic tribes lived from the Lake Ilmen (Ilmajärvi) region to the Arctic Sea in North, Estonia and Finland in the west and to the Volga river system to the east. Karelians would be one of the still indepen...

The Battle of Neva - why no Finns and Norwegians?
Hei! I just watched a video of the Battle of Neva, in YT played by Agrippa Maxentius. I mentioned to him that this battle's source lists Karelians (eastern Finnish tribe) participating in the battle together with their ally the Novgorodians. And with the invading army the source mentions two western...
