Re: Desert War 1940-1942

Well than it sounds like the game is in good hands Brian. As a project manager I tend to improve on previous iterations of the same product. Thus I'm sure your changes will serve to enhance the user experience. looking forward to the release.

Re: Desert War 1940-1942

Ben, if you'd like to re-live your glory days... all V4V titles (Utah Beach, Velikiye Luki, Market Garden - my favorite, and Gold-Juno-Sword) as well as WaW (Stalingrad, Crusader, and D-Day America Invades) are still available for download from various paid and free sites. With a DOS emulator, they ...

Re: New style of campagin

So call me crazy, but in DoM you have a choice to add either a new 2pip Soviet unit or to reinforce an existing unit already on the map by 1pip. I would like to see the ability to disband a 2pip unit and add it as a 1pip reinforcement to your units somewhere else. This would need to be done instead ...

Re: Crisi in Command question

That is wonderful and disappointing at the same time. Wonderful as additional game mechanics add complexity, enjoyment, re-playability, and over all a chance to show off your strategic genius... disappointing as it is obviously preventing the title from being released on all platforms. With both Bot...

Re: Desert War 1940-1942

I can say without any reservation that I too treasure the moments I spent playing those games as well as the follow up titles in the Close Combat series. These electronic gems are forever etched in the annals of strategy and tactics gaming as classics and a testament of the longevity of a good title...

Re: Panzer Corps 2017 Multiplayer Championship!

Dear Loosy Goosy :) What DLCs do you recommend on adding? When is the signup open (is signup on June 6th or tournament start on June 6th?) What lessons were learned from the previous tournament(s)? I ask because I played a BotB tournament and am playing a second one right now. 96 players without pro...

Re: The Spring Clash Tournament is over - it's time for PAYB

So... according to the Slitherine Score page for this tournament, there seems to be a lot of games that have timed out?!? Is it that people are not doing their turns for a period of 5 days or is this an error?

Re: The Spring Clash Tournament is over - it's time for PAYB

Hey HBJ, because we have random pairing and no time-zone matching or time/gaming window matching, you and your opponent will just have to do your best to complete as many turns in 10 days as possible. My opponent is in Italy while I'm playing from Canada; he diligently stayed up until 1am his time s...

Desert War 1940-1942

O.M.G. Could it really be. Could Matrix/Slitherine product selection once more include a WW2 WEGO system based game? It's only been 28 years since Atomics' V4V series came out for Microsoft's DOS OS. And 25 years since the follow up World at War series that included the Crusader campaign came out. I...

Shards, Technology is wonderful.... when it works :)

I think we are OK for this round, but you'll most likely need to double check next round matches when we are paired up.

Re: The Spring Clash Tournament is over - it's time for PAYB

Hi Alberto I am certain that most people are blissfully unaware that a new tournament has been scheduled (I base this on the response I got from 2 former opponents of the last tournament). If you have the power... opt in from any of the BotB registered owners to receive Slitherine bulletins and emai...

Re: Panzer Corps 2

All of these suggestions have already been made, therefore I am just casting my vote so that if anyone is actually keeping score and tallying up player/user wish list, the total goes up by 1 :) 1) Ability to plot your unit's movement to avoid obvious ambush choke points 2) 4 player games or 2 co-op ...

So is the 1-6 players a mistake or has this question been missed by the moderators?

Re: Panzer Corps - 75% OFF ON THE ENTIRE SAGA!

Hi Paulus I purchased a second copy of PC to gift to my brother. The Slitherine website automatically registered the game with my Members Club account "my products" showing that I owned 2 copies. Technical support was kind enough to unhook it and I have been able to pass it onto my brother...

Re: The Battle of the Bulge Spring Clash Tournament has begu

That's why I wanted to know where you are. It seemed to me that as I was getting up you were going to bed and visa versa. If that was the case I am not surprised we did not finish our games. I am sure you two gentlemen will agree that a "Time Zone" stamp next to the player's name would ha...

Re: The Battle of the Bulge Spring Clash Tournament has begu

Hi Alberto

Out of curiosity; how come the in game points were not used to determine winner in the tournament?
Has there ever been a DoM tournament or is that too long/too many turns?
