Re: War Stories: Fall of Poland - Dev Diary #1
They already did that with the variable-token system. 0. In the vanilla campaign, completing the alternative objectives in North Africa or Eastern Front line makes it possible to choose the ahistorical path that leads to a German victory. 1. In 1940 you can save Bluecher in Fornebu to have it showi...

Re: War Stories: Fall of Poland - Dev Diary #1
I suspect, but it remains to be seen, that the narrative will be more present in the pop-up windows related to objectives, while main briefings and debriefings will cover the background, maybe addressing what the plater was or was not able to do (if the scripts can be updated to support that). It m...

Re: War Stories: Fall of Poland - Dev Diary #1
I dunno... It is an interesting way to go about it. Personally, while it seems somewhat nice that players are not required to engage with the story/character elements, I feel like it might be a bit of a miss in the long run. For a DLC called "War Stories", I really do feel like the whole t...

Re: lay mines during the deployment phase
I suppose you could also try the idea of creating a new unit type that has no movement and uses the kamikaze/single shot traits as a way of creating placeable 'psuedo-minefields' if changing the OG minefield's unit type doesn't work.

How exactly does supply work? And how could/should it work?
I'm trying to gain a deeper understanding of how the supply system works, and how commander traits (i.e., Limited Supply and Chaotic Fire) can impact it. The current system is not terribly well explained as far as I am aware, and I wanted to find out if anyone could tell me more about it. Things lik...

Re: Ideas for Panzer Corps 2
Quick thought, not sure if it's been mentioned, but better use of heroes by the AI. When activating the Heroic Showdown option, some units end up getting a hero that doesn't really work for that unit type or they get a hero that has no real benefit to the AI - for example, an infantry unit might get...

Artillery: What would you change, and why?
As a Panzer Corps player who would like to eventually get into the modding scene to create mods for, especially, PzC 2, I figured I'd ask for some opinions from people here on the forums about stuff, just so that I can begin the spit balling process of trying to see what I might want to do for a few...

Question: How fun is Slow Reaction?
So, wanted to hear some community thoughts on Slow Reaction, what it does, and how fun it may or may not be. In particular, I'd like to hear answers to the following points; 1: Do support units (AA/AT/ARTY) still provide support fire to units being attacked? 2: How does the AI respond to this trait ...

Re: Land Cruiser
Honestly, I just wanna say that I will give the dev team some very serious bonus points if I can just drive this thing over top of an enemy unit and squish it - that way I can use their guts to grease the treads of my "Tank", as a rather famous/infamous American once said. One can on...

Steam version, plz?
Hey, wanted to tell you thanks for the hard work you put into creating these campaigns of yours. Also, wanted to ask if you could release this campaign on the Steam Workshop? I have the Steam version of PC2, and I've tried to get this campaign working with it to no avail. I'm really very excited to ...

How many commander trait points do you consider the ideal?
In light of the fact that I'm wanting to take another run at the game, I wanted to ask the community about the number of commander trait points which they feel is the ideal average for starting. I like the commander trait system but feel that just 2 points at the beginning is too limited and I have ...
