I am having the same problem, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, changing setting for the graphics card but I haven't been able to fix the problem, any suggestions?

Re: Extra Galactic Threat
there is a certain technology you need in order to be able to track them, you just have to wait for it to appear. until then, post naval forces where you see attacks taking place as they tend to repeat

game stopped working
I tried playing the game just now, I've been playing Stellaris for the past week or so but got disappointed with some of the features in the game. I still like the game but there are features in both this game and the other game that I wish both games could integrate. But in any case, thats not the ...

Re: Wormhole Hotkey?
There is tech for creating jump links between 2 locations that essentially acts like a wormhole, only downside is that it only lasts for up to 40 years depending on the tech level

Re: Basic (not complex)Things Needed IMO
It would be best if the contents of the containers, provided that they are the same item like satellite parts, ought to be grouped into one stack that can be selected from the ship menu and then set to reassemble

If I recall correctly the satellite comes in 8 pieces so that means you will need 8 cargo containers minimum to carry a single satellite.

Re: It's been a LONG time since a game has grabbed me like t
you know you can take a lot of the micromanaging and guesswork out of the research portion by just clicking on the item you want to research and making it priority research. Doing that will automatically set your research to the optimal settings for researching that particular technology.

Re: micromanagement?
Personally I do very little if any micromanagement of my planets in the game and I've been able to win the game with no issues. If you want to split hairs over getting that absolutely perfect layout you can but its certainly not required. The only area where micromanagement is most required, IMO, is...

Re: Ship design: Quantity vs quality
First of all, battle stations don't need to be able to move during battles. If you are on the defensive (which you pretty much have to be if you have defense satellites) then there is a pre-battle set up portion that allows you to move the satellites wherever you want them so that you can cluster th...

Re: Ship design: Quantity vs quality
Not to knock your method, its certainly a good one, I think you are missing a better method here. Why not instead of dozens of corvettes, why not have a few defensive satellites? They are harder to destroy, have more spots for weapons and hangars. pretty much so long as they have adequate fighter su...

Re: Strategy update
Its not just a matter of the AI forgoing the research, it also chose to forgo using it for farms to which to my mind shows how desperately the AI needed the resources even more than research or food and despite the pitiful yield on resources it probably got from that.

Re: Mineral Resource Depletion Moddable?
By the same token though, I do have to agree with you in some respects because I happen to think that the time scale for resource depletion in this game is a bit too fast as well, probably being more on the scale of 10's of thousands rather than a couple thousand of years but as with everything in t...

Re: Mineral Resource Depletion Moddable?
Well you say that now but we are also talking about empires which, in real terms, would consist of trillions of people. Not to mention technology that would likely put far greater strains on resource allocation than would be the case in or current level of development. Just look at our own history. ...

Re: Mineral Resource Depletion
how is resource depletion not believable? there are only so many minerals in the ground and once you mine them all, well, you can't draw blood from a stone. Believe me, I had your concern about this issue as well but have you gotten to the late game yet? By then you can colonize gas giants that are ...

Orbital defenses
Does Anyone have any good strategies fro overcoming orbital defenses other than by using fighters? So far the only profitable way for defeating heavily armed planetary defense platforms has been to zerg them with fighters but I feel like there has to be other ways. That being said, I have yet to fin...
