I've seen it mentioned in a couple other threads. We need better highlighting of the selected unit in Pacific. OK, I went West, picked up the VP and Airfield at the bottom left, then went north to Wheeler. This allowed me to bring in an extra plane AND move the AA to the bay early and I was able to hold 3 BBs until the end of the scenario! The scenario says... activate airfields to get access to planes. I spent the turns crossing the water to Ford Field to get that airfield online... no planes.

Seriously guys its 2016. The fact that the default name in the save dialog doesn't start with the Campaign name and then an auto-incremented number is baffling. It is like 30 years of computer gaming was forgotten.

Haha I definitely got my $9 worth. And they did include achievements so I can try to work through those - actually forcing myself to build ARVN units in a game right now both for the achievements and to see what their value is. Unfortunately it is a map with a very strong road link between villages ...

I don't find roads that much a necessity really, if there is already a decent road infrastructure that I can get to from my HQ then sure, I use them and may build 1 mech or armor unit but there is really no threat to the cobra on the map so no reason to ever really built armor. I still thik my idea of braking the current Geen Beret into LRRP (pure recon) and Green Beret proper (combat+training) could help balance things out. The problem with this is that it is the ONLY trade-off with GBs. If you do this there would literally never be a reason to buy LRRP as ARVN are point...

Oh, and I used ambush once... it was awesome! But completely unnecessary because of Green Beret. Another strategic component made irrelevant by an OP unit.

Also, please no agent orange, it is already FAR too easy to clear jungle for LZs and roads. I can literally build a road to Hanoi in this game, it should be harder or more costly to build roads and clear jungle.
