Deepstrike, allows the unit to be deployed anywhere on the map.
Maybe wait a turn or two before they could drop. This would make Terminators really cool and enable the use of drop pods

Re: So I just lost 20 Space Marines
The books are a poor portreyal of how the SM work, they overhype them to ridiculous levels. Don't relay on them.

Re: wtf is....- Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon ?
Can't you just upgrade the unit?
You take a punisher for the first X mission, at some point you decide to upgrade it to Vanquisher or an Annihilator.

Re: Army builds
Thanks for that, I used them for about 10 missions, so I quickly learned the range difference between all weapons, but it might help others, cheers.

Re: Army builds
Yeah, I struggled at normal, but I am guessing that's because I have to learn about the game mechanics. Although, simply going ''Hey this thing survived my Reaver shot, here, eat 5 more Reaver volleys'' isn't a really good way to learn the game :P And regarding the complaints about the Warhound tita...

Re: Army builds
Playing on easy through the campaign, so plenty of requisiton, I am at 18 Reaver Titans or so. Supported by 2 Armageddon Basilisk batteries, a fully upgraded Baneblade, a fully upgraded Shadowsword, two platoons of Guardsmen in Chimeras, a squad of Terminators with assault cannon, a squad of Scouts ...

Re: Missing units?
Yeah I though the whole thing up earlier. Basically, you add deep-strike to the following Terminators Jump pack anything Drop-pods* Stormtroopers if they ever show up They got special deployement zones that show up after a few turns, or not, I'd prefer to wait, personally, they stay in your reserves...

Re: Missing units?
Also, if we could Deep Strike stuff, they'd give that option for the Steel Legion.

Re: Missing units?
Well, Scions and Stormtroopers are the same, but if memory serves me right, the metal stormtroopers model came out at the same time as the Steel Legion line of models, furthermore they have the Stormtrooper doctrine, or well had, in an older IG codex. The psyker pretty much pop on every planet, so t...

Missing units?
I am wondering what happened to the Tempestus Scions/Stormtrooper, the Ogryns and the Psyker Battle squad, these 3 aren't exactly obscure units (the Scions get mentionned by the Inquisitor, all three are from the IG codex, not some hidden Forgeworld pdf) it just feels weird not to see them when you ...
