Hi. I am in a 3 way MP match and one of the players may soon be eliminated. Question is will he get the option to play another AI country? He would like to continue on in our match.
I know there is an option in SP and thought someone told me in MP that option will prompt if one player wishes to continue after they are eliminated off the map.

Re: Multiplayer Question
On technical side: if he will be eliminated he can stay in the game and hope to be Rebirthes via rebellion, Free Region decision or invasion mechanic if his nation barbarian related. Change Faction doesn't work in MP unfortunately, but he wont be kicked after complete elomination.OldCrowBalthazor wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 3:24 am Question is will he get the option to play another AI country? What to DO: accept his Client State status and gift him one of the regions in your Empire just in case to hedge. Now, help him to liberate his lost territories and gift them back. You know that AI is pretty easy to get rid off once you crushed their main stacks if you on the low difficulty.

Well he is toast then because neither of the other two players including me can help him like you described above.. He is playing Rome, and tried to save himself by becoming a client state of Tarantem. He went hell bent on the Senomes and got pounced on by the Etrusci. He doesn't even have the city of Rome and is down to one region...Neopolis.SuitedQueens wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:49 amOn technical side: if he will be eliminated he can stay in the game and hope to be Rebirthes via rebellion, Free Region decision or invasion mechanic if his nation barbarian related. I'm playing Ptolemaic Egypt and the other opponent is playing the Britonae. We have enough interesting but challenging situations as it is. I sent Rome some money and could transaction some troops like Aegyptian archers or the like.
I don't understand how he got in this pickle except that he said he was very aggressive.
So I guess the questions now is if his Rome disappears, can we still pull our turns since he is lingering on the server (I set the abandoned player at 28 days). Also...if Rome reappears later through rebellion or what not...do we need to contact him so he can pull a turn so we can proceed?

Re: Multiplayer Question
He can break the Vassal/Client State status at any point and re-enter with other nation once again. I thought that you can ask anyone not super distant to accept you as Client. If you can send him units that means that you can trade regions as well IIRC if your relationships at 25 or above.OldCrowBalthazor wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 11:12 am I'm playing Ptolemaic Egypt and the other opponent is playing the Britonae. Yes. But I think he should confirm his turns in any case. Won't take him long I recon. And ofc you should contact him if Rome reappears. If he forfeits the game right now then he wont be able to come back at any point.OldCrowBalthazor wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 11:12 am So I guess the questions now is if his Rome disappears, can we still pull our turns since he is lingering on the server (I set the abandoned player at 28 days).
