About Panzer Corps

Panzer Corps is a brand new turn-based strategy game that reinvents a classic genre. Produced and developed by a team of experts and brought to perfection by a community of hundreds of fans, the game has evolved over 2 years to become what can be defined as a modern classic!

Set in World War II, Panzer Corps puts the player in charge of Axis armies, taking their core force with them through the entire war. The use of combined-arms tactics requires each general to make use of the strengths and exploit the weaknesses of their opponents.

Its multiplayer mode, an improved version of Slitherine’s award winning PBEM++ system, allows players to easily find opponents anywhere in the world enjoy playing them with none of the hassle.

Panzer Corps is designed to replicate the feeling of a classic wargame, but brings it up to 21st century standards and to a whole new generation of gamers.

Get the update here. The update is comprehensive and will bring all previous versions of Panzer Corps to 1.05. Get more information on Panzer Corps from its official on the Slitherine site or on the Matrix Games site.

I never updated to 1.04, but I updated this one, 1.05. My game folder shows the update was installed, but in the graphics unit folder I do not see the new units the update gives. Any suggestions?

Not, there is no problem with the install, I just checked. Your problem is that you installed this game 4 times on your computer, like you said elsewhere on this forum:

Why do you install it 4 times anyways? :?

I will answer your question in a different tone than you directed comments towards me.

I have one game that is completely un modified, it is my backup. The other games are used to do modifications of various forms without getting the mods overlapped and confused.
I have gone to each game and checked the update information and all are updated. You are not much help, offer no suggestions........so why not just keep your remarks to yourself "WINGS"? I guess I have encountered my first forum member with poor manners. Everyone else is courteous and helpful.

And YES! I did post a similar question on another thread in this forum. Are you some kind of Forum Policeman.

You seriously need to stop with your personal attacks on me in two different threads now, because I'm getting sick and tired of that.

I never told you that you can't post this twice, I only quoted your other comment to clarify something to the readers and you make a major issue out of that? :?

Like I said in both threads, installing software multiple times IS in general (read "in general") not recommended, period. And if I ask you why you installed it 4 times, I'm doing this to find a solution for you that DOES work and that avoids such issues. But all you seem to be focusing on in your replies is childish personal attacks, based on the tone of my post? For Pete's sake....compare my previous post with yours to understand the difference; you're just plain rude.

Please, could we stop, gentleman.
You can always exchange PMs with each other and try to clarify your positions.

This is the error I get every time (and previous times with 104 and such) I let the game update itself:

This is on top of the horrendous download time.

Try one of the mirrors.
I usually use gamefront.

Hmm, I updated through a mirror and didn't have any trouble with it.
I recommend doing that if you continue to experience trouble with the game self updater.

I did go to a mirror. I just point it out in case it can be improved upon somehow. Much easier to just click 'update' but a pain when it doesn't work. Seems a tad odd to have to go to a mirror site to download.

I would attribute that to the demand. :)

Worked fine for me. The Auto-updater was too slow, so I grabbed it off one of the Mirrors. The 3rd one listed I think. The first was slow, the 2nd had some annoying 2 min wait thing attached to it. 3rd one worked great, had it in like 2.5 mins.

(The Auto updater and other mirror worked fine, I just didnt feel like waiting 12-20 mins)

I wish they would post sales figures or give % of sales vs other games.

I believe this is the most popular game in war strategy in along time.

Higher sales than GGWITE, x % of Civilization.

Despite what you think this game is very popular and allot of people never post.

Demand is so high the servers get taxed when there is an update.

I really like the Auto-updater, but I haven't gotten it to work in over 2 months. I keep getting an error or a not responding message. I've tried completely turning off my firewall, anti-virus etc. but no luck. Funny, when I was on dial-up it worked but when I switched to satellite, it didn't work.
