Re: GJS'44 - D-Day - June 10th - Pegasus, Hermanville, Crist
I believe Mlazar said he wouldn't be able to play until Saturday viewtopic.php?f=87&t=38844&start=1340#p393063
So long as folks let their opponents know if they can't play for some reason, and commanders assign BGs accordingly where appropriate, I'm sure we can all live with a few days of waiting...
Sounds like Cristot and Biéville were quite one-sided affairs? The other two look more evenly matched?

Re: GJS'44 - D-Day - June 10th - Pegasus, Hermanville, Crist
Cristot:
The allied advance was abruptly halted by the suprising arrival of a armoured SS BG. The blood-thirsty and fanatic SS threw themselves over the allied troops as soon as they came into sight. After a short and uneven battle the Panthers had decimated the allied troops heavily with their superior long-range cannons against the Shermans and Fireflies. The German assault came to an end at the river after the bridges had been secured. The German commander saw no reason in continuing the battle and offered the Allied commander a ceasefire. There were no special terms for the ceasefire and the allies were offered to retreat according to... the campaign rules.
Germans win by 14-3 in VP (the allies hold The Mill 3VP).
Mkboy, please agree to the result to make it official.
I'm not looking forward to your revenge!

check to see if you are running the game with the "Full Screen" box checked at startup. I was running it that way and could not screen shot...after unchecking...I was able to...might give it a try.mlazar wrote: coreysr to provide a screenshoot of dead - my windows 8 computer can not seem to screenshot the game only my desktop

Re: GJS'44 - D-Day - June 10th - Pegasus, Hermanville, Crist
Here's the updated map with new arrows. Please tell me what you think. I did not wanted the arrows to stand out too much and toned them down. Black are Germans and blue are Allies. Thick arrows indicate moves that result in a battle, thin arrows are moves that are depending on the outcome of current battles.
I also discovered an error in the previous map. I had moved 9/3 to Cruelly but as 131/7 moves before 9/3 it is 131/7 that reaches the sector first. And as there're a lot of fighting in Hermanville, 131/7 can't move there even if it was its intended destination. Am I correct, Jon?

Thanks P-A, Great Strat Map as always! Where 131/7 is able to move, will depend on the prior battles in Hermanville.
If there are no Allied BGs in Hermanville, 131/7 can enter that sector. If there is an Allied BG there, it can't.
