The Allies are in the lead. I suspect that the scenario maker has made it harder for the Germans. Did someone say he switched sides the day before the last battle?!?

Re: GJS'44 Campaign Main Thread - Final June 16th 1944 Tourn
Player (Games finished - Games won - Games lost - Total VPs)
Honour (5-3-2-38)
Guardsman (2-2-0-34)
Wegeberg (3-2-1-40)
Cavehobbit (3-2-1-33)
Protectivedaddy (3-1-2-25)
Morge (3-1-2-17)
Mlazar (4-1-3-11)
Jcb (1-0-1-6)
Coreysr (0-0-0-0)
Landmarine (0-0-0-0)
Peterjfrigate (0-0-0-0)
Random (0-0-0-0)
Honour is in lead with most wins, but Guardsman have had an impressive run this far, two 17p wins. Wegeberg has the most flag points, but one loss more than Guardsman. That's the top three this week.
Looking at the individual maps Benouville has proved to be pro-German, while Bayeux been really hard for the Germans to defend. For some time it looked like Thaon would be a map for the Allies, but Honour proved that wrong! In Pegasus, Abbaye and Hillman we still need a few more games to find out which side will be dominant.
12 games complex, that's 1/3 of all games and it is 5-7 to the Allies. Very close so far!

Hillman is about to complete between Morge and me.
And we have about 4-5 turns left in Abbeye between Jcb and MLazar.
I have my three other games posted to my opponents with password "jcb989" I believe.

I can't wait until we can talk smack in Tunisia.protectivedaddy wrote:So take it your 'training' finished then..................you really are a girl aren't you.

By the bye, how are things going in Sedjenane? Has Major Morge sent your Kentish boys running yet?
I think the best way to describe our operations to date is that they have violated every recognized principle of war.

Typical of you Americans, just like Obama - running away from the battle. Pity you didn't spend some of your 'winnings' on a little bit of courage, I suppose you could always visit the wizard in your shiny red shoes...........
And no conflict as yet, I thnk Morge is still going through his tactical placement stage.

True, we wouldn't want you yanks to go into a battle unless you severely outnumber the opposition now would we. Afterall we know YOU are only happy when your facing an inferior opposing force.
If I blind fold the rest of my forces would that persuade you to continue taking your turns in your tourney battles.......I swear they won't peek.

"Honour is in the lead"? Yes, but I have finished the most battles. I won't get far with that result in the individual competition. Winning for the German side was the most important (not taking as many VP's as possible) but I don't think we will make it. I blame the scenario-builder! The rumors are saying he is a traitor and that he soon can be found somewhere in Tunisia fighting for the Allies.cavehobbit wrote: Honour is in lead with most wins, but Guardsman have had an impressive run this far, two 17p wins.
