Crashed!

Post by Juswin24 »

I've played for two frustrating days to only have this game crash at a point where I might have won! Last day and it locked up. I'm on an ipad 2 ios7. Menu button works and when I hit top right icon to commit it says combat instead and no action when hit. I can move screen around but no interaction.

Anyone else having problems? I've reset ipad reopened game and it's still dead when game opens to play.

I had a similar experience. The game crashed and when I wanted to start a new game I always got a defeat game over notice which blocked the screen and disabled the buttons left. Could not even turn in a feedback email. After a day or so without charging my iPad the problem disappeared by itself.

Neither of those reports sounds like what we'd call a crash (which is when the iPad returns to the home screen abruptly). In the case of a crash, you can synchronize your device to a computer and send us the crash log.

If the Feedback button is available from the menu, please use it to send us the troubled game.

If not, take a screen shot and mail it to cases@shenandoah.fogbugz.com so we have a way to track the issue.

It would be an asset to game if you would allow us to save progress and can go back to earlier save point. I really hate games that make me waste several hours of play time and one mistake ends it all. Undo button is great. But I would liked to try senerios and go back if it's wrong. Combat pop up rarely is ever is close to what it says. I also found playing as red that blue makes moves that that I've done and it always favors AI. I Go back and play blue and can't get same results. I understand is like a dice roll but it always favors AI. I'm already to put game down and I'm only on first level. It needs more flexiablity playing when I'm studying when playing AI, not face to face or other stuff. It is hard to play over and over and over and remember the moves I have made each time. Not all of us are great at games like this. I'm not going to buy Battle of Bulge if it's going to be just as frustrating. I've been playing since Atari days and I've learned where to spend my money on games and find enjoyment out of them. Guys who are good at these games don't have to use the saves if they don't want to. So having the option isn't there concern unless it's made to do auto saves.

Don't get me wrong, these are great games but novice players need a little more flexablity from game. If I knew it had it I'll spend the money on it.

Thanks

Ability to resume from a prior point is on our list of features - should be added down the line (though I can't promise when - lots of other good things to do!).
