Erik's Multiplayer scenarios
Moderators: The Artistocrats, Order of Battle Moderators
Coral Sea 1946
My beta expired, I got bored. So I cobbled together this what-if multiplayer scenario.
The premise: The Japanese Empire was established with firm borders after stunning victories at Midway, Coral Sea and Hawaii. A truce was signed between the US and Japan, but no one expected it to last.
Rearmament continued at a pace. Japan, after an ultimatum not to conduct naval excercises near its borders, has launched a surprise invasion of Australia. Airfields at Cocktown and Mareeba have been seized by Special Naval Forces landed at night by submarine. Aircraft have been flown in.
Following up landings are imminent.
I have posted 4 challenges hoping to attract enough players to be able to test playing each side.
Known issues: The Brits and Aussies are currently missing a lot of air/naval unit types in the stock game so their arsenal is a bit out-dated.
The Allied players both have access to US troops.

Re: Erik's Multiplayer Scenarios
cool...sounds fun
Re: Erik's Multiplayer Scenarios
a single player variant would be epic.
Re: Erik's Multiplayer Scenarios
Of course, but it requires a certain amount of work to program the AI.WWII44 wrote:a single player variant would be epic.
It is not difficult, but takes time. Right now I'm busy with other content.

Most of the map is neutral territory, players need to create supply lines on the offensive.
All towns/villages generate 5-10 supply. The majority of these locations are neutral at start.
Income RPs increased when reinforcements are purchased.
Minor terrain changes.

Iwo Jima 1945 updated to v6.4
Changes to terrain, supply, resource points and objectives.
All Japanese static units are now controlled by the AI.
This should free up the human Japanese player from micro-managing too many units and speed up play.
I have posted a challenge with me as the Japanese to test the changes.
