Multiplayer patch
Is it possible to give us an update anytime soon ?

Re: Multiplayer patch
Awesome. I'm loving the game and learning it for the first time - best game since I encountered Strategic Command for the first time - and the faster multiplayer options and the scenario builder get addressed the better. I get no joy out of whamming AI algorithms.
By the way - the western allies need some mountain troops. Germans on hills have a huge advantage....

I'm not sure the Brits or Americans actually had any "mountain troops"Catacol wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 12:14 pmAwesome. France did and they do in game!

What multiplayer options exactly are you waiting for? I don't remember anything from your recent posts.Catacol wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 12:14 pm Awesome. 1. Successful incorporation of heros into scenarios. Currently not working. Could we select them in the scenario builder rather than have them as random?
2. Easier mod tools for units so multiplayer scenarios can be made scenario unique. The current work around using the pzeqp and units files is not especially user friendly.
3. Hopefully some reworked multiplayer traits. Currently they are all clearly single player campaign designed, and not really suitable for multiplayer.
4. Possibility of multiplayer campaigns? Or at least the ability to link scenarios with forces from the previous battle preserved for the next?
5. Unit experience baseline from the preferences menu engaged so that green units can be properly represented, and replacements to other units set to regular if desired. Option is in the editor but it isn't working.
6. Some guidance on how to use the equipment pools limits. I haven't quite worked it out yet.....the format bamboozles me and it isn't in the manual.
And what follows is a definite wish list to make multiplayer scenarios better:
1. The ability to affect the number of air units that can locate to a particular airfield. Concrete/dirt strips are currently too generic. Or just addition of a type that allows only 3?
2. Make sure air lifted infantry don't take their transport with them. Maybe this is a bug?
3. Commandos are invisible - brilliant - but when they move the game plays the marching sound and shifts the camera...…..in multiplayer this is a bit of a give away.
4. Trees on hills? In general terrain could include a little more variation, even if only for multiplayer if its too difficult for single. Can we mod terrain? (see airfield point above)
5. Human players can too easily spam air. AA is a bit weak - could it be made slightly tougher? I'll probably play with values in my unit files anyway, but in general either kill more easily, or suppress more.
More thoughts bound to follow...

52nd Infantry Division was retrained as a mountain division in the British Army. USA had the 10th Mountain Division.Horseman wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 12:21 pmI'm not sure the Brits or Americans actually had any "mountain troops"Catacol wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 12:14 pmAwesome.
