Here are the randomly generated matchups for the first round:



The first round will be this matchup:

1) Macedonian (320 - 261) vs Gallic (300-101). Mediterranean Agricultural

Just message one another to determine who will host. Don't forget to apply the mod before hosting your match! And remember that these are mirror matches!

1600 point armies. Just post your results in this same thread like this:

Bob Defeats Jim
55-20
Match 2
Jim Defeats Bob
45-17

*it doesn't matter which one you call match 1 and which you call match 2 of the mirror matches

Once all the results are in I will post a table with the players ranked by total points, which will determine the matchups for the second round.

You've got a week for each round. Please try to complete your first match by Thursday, August 13th end of day, so I've got time to setup the second round of matches before the weekend.

I can see your challenge in private matches but getting message "You need to download and install this free user content before you can play." I have been playing the mod in SP without trouble and have copied it to MULTIPLAYER folder. Not sure what is wrong. When I click on MULTIPLAYER I do not see any button that lets me choose the ALT mod, as I see in single player. I see this button when I choose custom battle in single player. What am I doing wrong?

I have only downloaded the multiplayer mod. I noticed when I extracted there was a folder within a folder and I had to get rid of the first folder before it would work. The link is at the start of this thread for the multiplayer mod.

Thanks, I will look at the file in MULTIPLAYER. I just copied the same file from CAMPAIGNS folder. I wonder if I should just delete it and copy the downloaded folder? I thought it was necessary to copy the entire downloaded folder. Did you just extract it to MULTIPLAYER from the download?

My folder looks like yours. What is the procedure? Do I just click on MULTIPLAYER and look for private games? Or is there a path which activates the ALT Mod as in when I go to Custom Battle, I click on the button that lets me choose ALT Mod?

you should both download and install again to ensure that you have the latest version of the mod. Are you both able to host multiplayer games, and play singleplayer custom games, with the mod, but just can't accept one another's game in multiplayer?

I think you're using the global version of the mod and that is why I can't accept your game. I will post the game again (same pw) and I think you will need to make sure you have the mod from the beginning of this thread downloaded to accept it.
