Unreal Engine Crashed
After I have installed the update 1.20, playable in the game exactly once.
The second time, the Unreal Engine always crashes. I've also tried to fix vc_redist. However, this has no effect.
I cant play the game anymore?

Unfortunately, the problem resurfaced with the third use
and since then I can no longer use the game again.
Am I the only one who has this problem?

Nope, u re not alone, was playing this morning fine then tonight the game carsh each time I try to lauch it from steam with the same log as u

Has been crashing on me too, some games won't start at all, sometimes crashes after a turn or two. I don't remember there being this many bugs in PC1 or Order of Battle which looks like it uses the same type of system just not as graphics heavy.

now it's happening to me as well. Between this and the atrocity that is shadow empire have uninstalled both ! twice bitten forever shy. Why Grisby went with Slitherine is an unfathomable tragedy.

I was getting the line 198 engine crash error till the update. I think I solve it.
I was playing the game in my very old monitor that support 1600-900 resolution maximum.
The game crashed nearly every turn with the Line 198 error even in deployment. But today I changed the monitor and pluged a one that support 1920x1080 and all of a sudden no crash in default settings through out whole scenario for 21 turns.
Try 1920x1080 resolution if your monitor suports.

1.20 usually crashes for me on the final turn of a random battle 15-turner and this message comes up, so I don't get a chance to see the final score or anything, grrr...
I tried installing 1.21 from the "Check for update" splash screen but the download always freezes with the message "Error downloading file".
And in "My page" 1.21 isn't listed among the available PC2 downloads so I'm stuck (sniffle)

Interestingly, i only get the Unreal crash message on my new Win10 PC, but not on my old Win7 PC..

Hello together,
I have the problem too. It crashes after ca. 1h . I don't know why. New driver and new vc didn't solve the problem.
I hope there will be a new patch soon.
