Community Update + GOG Version

So I tried the community update with my GOG version of Armageddon and surprise! it doesn't work, anyone know of a way to get it to work with the GOG version? or I did I download an older version?

I don't know, but you have to beware when you install the CU:
"To play it, after downloading, unzip the files and put them in a new folder on your hard drive, not in your game files folder, and run ArmageddonGame.exe as an administrator.
Exe should be in like C:\Warhammer 40000 Armageddon not like C:\Warhammer 40000 Armageddon\Warhammer 40000 Armageddon. If you do like second style, you may have an error and can't play the game."

I did do that and it claimed it could not find an installation of armageddon.

Hey, I might be late to the party but I found a way to make it work : use smartsteamemu, and set it up to run the game's exe. When you will launch smartsteamemu, Armageddon will work with the Community Update.

Step-by-step guide :

1) install your GOG version of the game
2) install the Community Update
3) install SmartSteamEmu (follow the instructions on the dedicated website)
4) open SmartSteamEmu.ini, find the line where you have to indicate the exe's name, and write ArmageddonGame.exe
5) launch SmartSteamLoader_x64.exe, the game will start and the Community Patch will be enabled.
