Weekly round-up
2 more wins for Questar17 (Bosporan) this week has seen him move clear of Nosy_Rat (Lombard) by 7 points at the top of Division A. It is very unlikely now that anyone else will be able to challenge these two players. At the bottom, matches are running out for both Morbio (Roman) and SpeedyCM (Jewish Revolt). In Division B devoncop (Parthian) has finished on 22 points, which may be enough to take second place, although the main focus now is on the relegation fight which could involve up to 6 players. Giacofa93 (Pictish) has surged to the top of Division C this week after posting 4 wins. Warg1 (Arab City) is 4 points back and sarmation (Armenian) remains unbeaten after 4 matches. At the bottom, it is last-chance saloon for ulysisgrunt (Jewish Revolt) who needs to decisively win his last match against kraff (Visigoth), and hope deeter (Germanic Foot Tribes) is beaten by the same opponent in his last match, to avoid automatic relegation. Still wide open in a sluggish Division D where the current leader is random27 (Ancient British), who is 2 points ahead of Bodhran (Dacian) after 5 matches each. Blagrot (Jewish Revolt) has started well with 3 straight wins and is third. At the bottom both gamercb (Arab City) and Doyley50 (Palmyran) are beginning to struggle. A very close contest in Division E still has Badger73 (Palmyran) in the lead with 24 points after finishing his matches, with both Bluefin (Visigoth) and Lynx57 (Roman) 5 points back with 2 matches left to play each. Darkwater247 (Germanic Horse Tribes) also has a chance after starting with 3 wins from 4 matches. In Division F shane30 (Palmyran) has reduced Hari72's (Sassanid) lead to 9 points this week with 3 matches left for him to play.

A first defeat for former champion Nosy_Rat (Viking Ireland) has undoubtedly given a huge boost to the two unbeaten front runners in Division A, harveylh (Irish) and tyronec (Dailami). MorkinTheFree (Scots-Irish) has replaced Cunningcairn in this division. In Division B Questar17 (British) has taken a firm grip on proceedings and remains unbeaten after 5 matches. It is not clear where a challenge might come from at the moment. It is a bit more open in Division C where Giacofa93 (Viking Ireland) has established a 4 point lead over third-placed random27 (Navarrese) with 2 matches each left to play. Warg1 (German) is currently in second place, but he has completed his matches. In Division D Swuul (British) is the clear leader by 9 points from Barrold713 (Anglo-Danish), who has 2 games in hand. Late challenges could still come from Kerait (Arab Conquest), carpenkm (German) or FireknightBarcelona (Byzantine). At the bottom, devoncop (Khorasanian) must win his last match against carpenkm to have any chance of avoiding the drop. Tratmot (Andalusian) has extended his lead in Division E by 6 points over Zawzgrzyt (Viking Ireland) after registering his sixth successive win. GraftMalt is still well-placed to challenge after starting with 3 wins from 4 matches. In Division F shane30 (Arab Conquest0 is beginning to make his move and now has 5 wins from 5 starts, leaving him 7 points behind current leader Hari72 (Frankish) with 3 games in hand, and just 2 points behind second-placed frederic02 (North Indian) with 2 games in hand. In the deciding match at the bottom of the table, Fluidwill (Scots) beat gallant Meroka37 (Umayyadd) to consign him to the wooden spoon.

Weekly round-up
Nothing to report again in Division A, apart from MorkinTheFree replacing Cunningcairn. By way of stark contrast Division B is finished! BobGanoush has won automatic promotion to Division A, finishing 1 point ahead of Warg1 and Captainwaltersavage. ray552 is relegated. Plenty of action too in Division C where defeats in his last 2 matches for leader Holien has opened the door for one of Dreddradish, FireknightBarcelona or carpenkm to take the automatic promotion place. IMC has had another difficult season in this section and is likely to face the drop. The leader in Division D, sarmation, has also suffered 2 defeats this week leaving Badger73 just 1 point behind now with a game in hand. Kroche may also still feature in the promotion race. The automatic promotion place in Division E has been won decisively by olddog52 who now has 9 consecutive victories, with just 1 match against gamercb to complete. At the bottom both DirtyMark and gamercb need wins in their last few matches to avoid the wooden spoon.

A second defeat for new leader harveylh (Italo-Norman) has left him on the same number of points as ericdoman1 (Mongol Ilkhanid) with 2 games in hand, while tyronec (Aragonese) is sitting very comfortably in third place, just 1 point behind with a 100% record after 4 matches. At the bottom things are starting to look a bit precarious for desertedfox (German) who has just 1 win from 6 starts. In Division B, Captainwaltersavage (Portuguese) has had his lead reduced to 5 points by oscarius (Anglo-Irish), but the real threat is TaBai (Mongol Ilkhanid) who is in third place with 5 wins from 6 starts. lunecastle (Aragonese) is also playing well with 4 wins and a draw from 6 starts. Still very wide open in Division C where GDod (Andalusian) leads with 5 wins from 7 starts, but both Kroche (German) and rpadilla1988 (also German) are handily placed to develop a challenge with 3 wins from 4 stars each. At the bottom, both devoncop (Mongol Ilkhanid) and Garokan (Portuguese) are struggling and desperately need a win to ease their relegation worries. Kerait (Ghurid) is an increasingly powerful position now after Blagrot lost for the first time in his fifth match. Kerait now just needs 4 points from his last 2 matches to win automatic promotion and one of those games is against Blagrot. At the bottom, Tratmot (Mongol Europe) needs 6 points from his last 2 matches to avoid relegation and send GraftMalt (Ghaznaid) down. Division E was decided this week when Quivis (German) just about managed to secure a 2 point draw in a very cagey match against heidipie (Berber Almohad) to finish just ahead of long-time leader Rosedelio (Ghurid).
