Older Ostfront versions did not work with 1.11 patch. If I remember correctly Ostfront 2.0 was optimized for 1.05. And yes all three campaigns are included in the latest 3.0 version.

Ostfront 3 (North, Centre and South) is compatible with version 1.11.

Beatifull mod, i like it.
A little question.
How can i see the core units vs auxiliar units?
I think that the colour of the line under the unit strengh is blue for core and grease for auxiliar... but is a few difference!
Confirm or rectify please.

Yes AUX units have a blue line whereas core units have a grey line beneath the strength value.
This mod is awesome!
Music is superb, at least scenarios where I can move more than 60 units!
I found the graphism very special but you easily get used to it.
I love the extra features, mobile airfields, extra units like FW 200 Condor.
Animations and unit sounds are really awesome.
WIth such huge maps now you understand why you must have aircrafts with a long range (get rid of Me 109E and Ju 87B as soon as you can).
I am playing the Centre campaign, won 1st scenario, I used the customed level (all units at 15 on my side, 10 for AI and tons of prestige for me, normal prestige for AI, I discover the mod so I must win easily. Scen 1 won at turn 22 (max nr of turns is 30), I was slow because I had to discover the switch feature to get trucks for my canons.
The overall view (strategic map)n is not as clear as the standard game, you cannot see at once which are the VHs to take, OK those are the yellow ones but this is well "hidden".
But I really appreciate the game and can only congratulate the team for such a huge work!
Maps are bigger, need for movement equipment is well shown here on the Eastern front, a thing not so well depicted in the original game.
I guess after my vistory at Moscow I can play in 1942 up to 1945 or is it scripted with impossibility to win against "Ivan" even if you win the scenario like in the DLCs ?

Some comments
Maybe one of the best mod ever done for Panzer Corps: music + sounds + icons + extra unit + maps (showing the necessity to use aircrafts with a big tank and the huge space in Russia) + my preferred front of WW2 = a splendid cocktail
Scenario "Wjasma und Brjansk": This must be this scenario since it is the one just before Istra und Lobnja: there is a mission to capture a NKVD commissar and to bring him to SMolensk airfield, 2 paratrooper units are given to the player, but what for ? I never managed to locate this Party guy. There are NKVD units everywhere around the map. This goel to get a BV remains a mystery to me. Could you clarify ?
Scenario "Istra und Lobnja" is presented with the picture of a Panther tank: strange in October 1941 (OK the scenario takes place in 1943, shame one me...)
Purchase menu: when you click on the "Fallschirmjäger with canon" infantry unit, the picture is popped up unlike any other pictures. The picture appears of the box during an infinite amount of time.
I have forgotten the name of the scenario but in the victory message you mention that "J Stalin's three children has been captured". You should have written "J Stalin's third child has been captured".
If you purchase the Nebenwerfer 1941 then you do not have any transport (in your mod transports are pre-attached for arty units). Normally the transport is attached to the unit but here the unit was not able to move because no transport attched by default.

Some remarks for the designers:Heeresgruppe Mitte: Brest-Litowsk, Pripjetsuempfe, Bialystok und Minsk, Witebsk, Dnjepr, Jelnjabogen, Smolensk, Roslawl und Gomel, Wjasma und Brjansk, Istra und Lobnja, Gegenoffeinsive Istra, Kalinin-Rschew, Winterstellung, Rschew-Olenino, Schlacht bei Sytschowka, Unternehmen Seydlitz, Operation Mars, Bueffelbewegung, Bereit machen, Volokolamsk, Istra –Lobnaja, Der Kessel, Fall von Moskau and Stalin.

Totally new to the game and just tried out this fantastic mod, transforms the game, great art work and sound.
I see in the editor I can increase the number of turns. Apart from difficulty will this upset the mod at all?

On DMP's download page the latest version is 4.1.

I am installing this game into the GME program, is this the correct thing to do?
I guess it's correct, I had to go into the GME program and activate the mod by clicking on the little blue "tasks" and then import mod, now it works, the only thing that happened then was when I clicked on my shortcut on the desktop it came up with something about autorun? or something, I then just created a new shortcut and it works. So, I have the mod in the GME program under MODS folder - correct?
I don't have to place it into the slitherine folder? Funny, I keep answering my own questions, I looked at my slitherine folder setup and it does have the ostfront folder present.
What do you think?

Install the "Ostfront" in a new Folder and add the exe-files and txt files from your vanilla PC-Version.

Anyway, the way it worked for me was that when I ran the downloaded file it set up a new folder called: Program Files (x86) in my C: Drive (I still use XP Professional). It also created a new Slitherine folder inside this, and inside this Slitherine folder was the Ostfront folder.
I then had to copy the following six files from Panzer Corps:
PanzerCorps.exe
PanzerCorps.TXT
main.txt
autorun.exe
panzer-launcher.exe
ScenarioEditor.exe
into the Ostfront folder.
This worked for me.

Thanks Richard and all of you for helping out, it seems all the mods are working correctly. On the Ostfront Mod, how do you NOT show the hex sides on the screen? I don't like having the overlay when I click on my own unit. Plus, I have to get used to all the special icons on this map. Quite different than the original game.

I am playing the capture of Moscow ("Fall von Moskau") scenario in "Heeresgruppe Centre" campaign. Soviets attack right from the start whereas they have to defend their capital, it was unexpected and I lost some auxiliary arty units there.
Using GME is the easiest way to install the mod. I repeat, this is the best mod ever for me (even if the various winter camo units are present in summer, even if the map mini-screen on the right shows up the map with snow in summer).
Players need well to study the new buttons for the move of arty units and the special moves of some infantry units with "canoes/Kayacs".
The same team developped an Afrika Korps campaign and a campaign from the point of view of Finland which are also interesting.
Recently they have just created a campaign in the Pacific...
I finished the bonus scenario after Moscow when you have to locate the car of Stalin and bring it to an airfield, searching for a unit on the map is not easy but fun thx to information given by civilians!
I started The Heeresgruppe Süd (Southern part leading to Stalingrad). Excellent game!
The player has to manage less units than for the Centre campaign and the clock is there to force you to move on, however extra objectives are harder to achieve (e.g. block trains, find a radio emitter, ...)

I was playing the North Campaign and I was on the map traveling toward Minsk. After the 4th turn I had a run time error and the game crashed. I was wondering, if it happens again, is there anything I can do to help out with the design etc? I have a very stable machine and this is the first time I believe this has happened.
