Hi,

After unzipping and placing the app in the Applications folder.

I get a CRC failure and try installing again.

I tried twice and no joy...

file name - BABeta2.0.0v1.app

It shows that the expansions I have are registered.

Gah - my fault! I even knew I had to do it, and forgot. If you took part in the Sealion Mac Beta you need to:

1 - go to ~/Documents/My Games/BBCBA
2 - delete any files that start with an underscore (a _ symbol)

they are remnants from the prior beta.

Sorry for the hassle. You should be fine once you delete the file(s).

OOPS, I seem to have misplaced my serial number for Beta 2.0.0

Due to massive losses in property, including my pc, I don't have the beta to pull the serial from.

Just got my invitation this morning, but how can I get my serial number replaced?

You should be able to look up your serials on your My Page here on the site.

You should not be using a beta serial - you should be using your full serial for the main game.

The game does not ask for a serial number.

It does not get past the first screen after clicking ok on the small first window (where you can register the game) The register button is greyed out.


Hi I finally saw the previous post about removing the files with the (_***) underscore character. I will do that when I get home.

To go back in time would be a great thing. I would have waited until I was better rested before making that post about the serial number. After replacing my computer I have not reinstalled my game, soooo...

So all is good? You just need to install the game first, then install the beta, using your 'real' serial number.

The beta has been updated. New links in the top post of this thread. There are new version across all platforms. So please grab the update and keep on playing. All feedback is welcome and helps us make sure the update is as good as it can be!

Pip, I launched my game and tried to get into MP to play my open games and it says that I need to exit to update game to current version, but when I exit and relaunch its not updating the game...Is there a new patch that has just not been made available quite yet and this is why its doing this? I thought it self updated when you launch the icon.

Ah - OK. The beta version doesn't have the setup for hooking into the auto updater. Sorry for the confusion.

I will add it to my task list so that future beta users are not confused by the message.

We'll be beta testing the iPad version next week hopefully. If you were part of the previous iPad beta you'll be getting a mail soon!

Is it possible to get my "new" iPad added to the forthcoming beta or replace the UDID if my original iPad with the UDID of the new one? The game (and everything else) runs much better on the new iPad than my original iPad.

I don't think we are likely to be doing a new beta for this update (unless we find some major problem). But we can definitely add your new device for future.

i've just tried playing single player on first campaign.. love the way the square goes blank when you reinforce with medic ,.. and then the troops run from off the screen .. a bit confusing cos you can't see what's there,..but i can get used to it! .. i've tried multi player , but it says i have to update and start game from launcher lol! .. i'm not sure what this means ;-/ .. i've put the beta on an different drive,.. is that ok? .. you said don't mix the two, and my other drive is almost full.. just checking! .. hey great news about this multiplayer total force selection!.. wanted this from the beginning! .. gotta do it with panzercorps next!! y'know you want to!...y'do

It sounds like you are playing with 2.0.0, you'll need to update to 2.0.1 first, then apply the hotfix to 2.0.2. The medic issue was from 2.0.0 ages ago, which is how I know you are a little behind the times .

got 2.01 installed .. got 2.02 hotfix patch...but doesn't seem to do anything.. still says i need updates. do i need to restart computer ? or what folder in the B.A. beta folder do i need to put hotfix in? ..yes it is unzipped! sorry.,. i'm not at all technical with computers ;-/

If you double click the zip it should open like a normal folder. You need to drop the EXE and all the other files into the install folder for the beta. You need to be careful that on Vista or 7 it might pop up a warning that you are trying to change an installed program.
