Boggit [Christian Nubian (early)] 41/44 bt Greyhunter Later Visigoth 36/32
A very close game from the start. It could have gone either way in the last few turns. Thanks for the game.

Another result for Div. D
Epicouros (Early Fatimids) 8/27 beat Boggit (Medieval Castilian) 34/34.
The battle was harder than these numbers suggest though. Although few of my units got routed or destroyed, a lot of them (especially Abid-al-Shira footmen, but also some Mamluks) had suffered lots of losses and a few were near autobreaking. A strong position on a hill, the drawing out & isolating of a few Castilian Knights and some timely charges helped to secure the win just before a lot of my infantry would have collapsed.
Thanks for the game! (my last in the league this season).
I'll skip summer, but should be back for the autumn season.
Jan/Epicouros

Londo (Alexandrian Macedonian) 17/43 beat rexhurley (Early Gatae) 50/44
Londo (Early Gatae) 47/50 beat rexhurley (Alexandrian Macedonian) 37/36
Rex was very unlucky with the last game. His heavy cavalry had been riding down Thracians with great ease all game. I had beaten up Macedonian MF and LF and raided their camp, but had little success against their quality troops.
Going into the final turn, Rex was ahead by a few BP and seemed very likely to win. But some crazy Thracian dice rolls saved my day.

Pool A
The Wars of Pyyrhos
eric (Pyrrhic) 7/37 vs Klayeckles (Hellenistic Spartan) 53/48
These games relied on winning initiative. The Pyrrhites needed to win to choose as open a map as possible and they did.
Klay had a very large hoplite force which can not stand up to pikes in the open, hence the result. In our other game I bought a lot of mf, who have occupied the woods. In between and behind are the hoplites. Our other game is looking like a draw.
