Early Jewish

I agree, I would have liked to see a Early Hebrew list as well, although if I can use the mentioned Nomad list to portray these guys then that will work. As far as being significant, that part of the world was highly prized at the time and was a key resource for moving armies, trade, and food production. Even though they did not control a huge empire, the under dog battles against those empires is one of the many things that endears this army to many wargamers.

Oh yeah, I forgot a question. If this is the last Army Book for Ancients then what happened to "Empires of Ancient Mesopotamia" mentioned in the Immortal Fire allies list? Did this later become the "Swifter than Eagles: The Biblical Middle East at War" Army Book?

Thanks

Yes. It was only a working title.

Just a sidenote:
At Hemmingstedt the peasant army of Dithmarchen were not defeated but won so decisively that the peasant republic became independent for the next 59 years.
More irrelevant trivia: Part of the army that was defeated was the "Schwarze Garde", the black guard. They later went on to soldier at Geldern and it is probable that the core of these troops later became the Black Band of Francois' German Landsknechts, who would later perish at Pavia.

Sorry, no photos, though.

Any chance that the Order of Saint John will join the Lost Scrolls (or the free PDF lost lost scrolls)?

I second that. I know they didnt have the numbers to constitute a list of thier own in Fog-Scale armies but it would be good nonetheless. Its a pain to have to use an existing list and just paint them as St John troops to enable playing arguably the most common of the military orders. (in that they appear in more lists than any other).
