herrmann gave a good fight as the French. I gambled on ignoring his partisan activities behind my lines, pushing for the victory hexes instead. As the Axis, he advanced methodically and cautiously, covering the whole map, denying me any partisans behind his lines.

Zachmann almost got me near the end as some Alliance sailors occupied my town's beaches deeply behind my lines, however my eye saw that one move just in time for a reinforcements to arrive.

A little over ten turns is easy.. to name.
The real question is: What is under ten turns called? BlitzSchock? "BS" ... to make it even faster to talk about? That doesn't sit right though...

I tried to remove most of the emails of eliminated participants, so if you are still getting this email and no longer in the tournament, please shoot me a quick email and I will do my best to remove you immediately.

I have heard back from about half of the players on their Round 4 matches, with one week left, I start to get worried that participants will not be able to finish.
The Good News is you still have 1 week left to finish your matches.
The Bad News you only have 1 week left to finish your matches.
So...please make sure you save your replay as some matches have come down to 1 day difference, I think 3 or 4, actually, which means people are getting paired up with even competitors, which makes the game so much fun, yet heart breaking.
