my apologies for some reason I missed your post with results of your games with Pantherboy. I would blame Alzheimers but I can't remember if I have that or not. Your win against Pantherboy is a real achievement, he is a very very good player as shown in his results in previous tournaments and campaigns.


So you and Pantherboy both advance to the second round. Tomoegozen must wait till the results from the other sections are completed

My 2 games against Tralum have ended.

In the first my Protestants beat his Catholics by 17% lost to 42% lost. The infantry battle took place between two forests and my many late tercio outshot his few early tercios. His arquebusiers on the left got into a losing firefight with dragoons and commanded shot who had the cover of the forest and some late tercios. His cuirassiers on the right were mostly distracted into taking on more dragoons and commanded shot also in a forest. The remaining cuirassiers and arquebusiers were swamped by my cuirassiers, arquebusiers and hussars.


There was a slight mix up in armies for the second game and he used protestants against my catholics and lost by 8% to 47%. His army was very strong in Cuirassiers and arquebusiers, to the point where I had as many early tercios as he had late tercios. He held his mounted back and advanced his foot. I outshot them with the aid of a battery of guns then charged. By the time his mounted got seriously engaged his foot had broken and the battle was over.


I think both battles were victories simply due to a lack of experience on his part. Hopefully he will continue to play and enjoy this great game.

The first was a win by 41% lost to 60%. The second was a win by 50% to 60%.
