Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Hello there,
I after "Operation Hinterhalt" I receive the attached error message. Any ideas? Edit:
Found out myself. Since the last update the path has changed, it seems to work if I just rename the path.
Edit2:
Oh wait, something seems wrong. I got the play the Ardennen Map from the basic campaign?! This cant be right I guess.

Hi, I'm just started playing this mod, it's a good mod. But in Modlin, there is Wehr Infanterie defending the city?
Also, in Warsaw North, there is a Panzer III wreck at 12,13

hi, thx for ur input. can u tell me roughly where those traitors are? i'll get them back in line.

Panzers are a illoyal bunch. they fight for any side if propperly fueled and armed.

Thomas

Oslo, I've saved Blücher but didn't get CP, the other two work fine

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
to lower ur frustration when u get back to voronezh the next time.
in the current version (10.12.22) is a typo in the Me262 script preventing it from working correctly.
line 519:
if (campaign.comm_points < 4 or prestige < 1500) then return end
change into:
if (campaign.comm_points < 4 or p.prestige < 1500) then return end
error will be corrected with first update next year.

Thomas

That's strange, I didn't get the reward at the end. And I replay the scenario again, and still no reward. The ship is fine, this time I didn't even move it. When I capture the last VP, there is no CP event.all working fine for me. i need more detailed information to know what went wrong for u.
The CP will be awarded at the end of the scenario.
Oh, I play with D vs G, but that shouldn't interfere

Also, during the test, I found that AA-ship can be Split

Dear all,
I guess the download-link on 1st page doesn't work properly. Can you check it?
When will be the next update for NH43 or even 44?
Greetings
Andy

Campaign Menu, GC 1940, the years covered shows 1939, not 1940

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
So, I started on the preludes to give the fuel/ammo/elites changes a whirl and here is my 2 cents:
Fuel & Ammo might be ok, but I guess it will be very hard to balance, so I would question if it is worth it. Also I imagine, that it favors small cores with very strong units as they would dish out more damage per ammo/fuel than a more diverse core.
What's more problematic is the elites pool. First of all, imho it should not reduce the pool when you reinforce during the deployment period.
But even if this would change, imho the complete mechanic should be optional.
They main problem I have with this, is that it is another "break-even" mechanic which needs to be absolutely spot-on balanced or it will be either frustrating or meaningless.
Consider the prestige: Depending on the difficulty setting you have either enough of it or too little. It is rarely the case that its just enough to get you by. Usually you reach a point where your general income is higher than what you expel and it gets meaningless fast or you are scraping by and struggle as you try to keep your units up and with experience which in turn worsens the situation as as your units get weaker and weaker.
The AO actually tries to actively counter both of these problems with the prestige reset events dotted throughout the campaign.
The elites would have the same problem: Either there are enough reinforcements to keep my core well-fed which would mean I would reach sooner then later a situation where my units are bursting with strength and experience leading in turn to me needing even less elites as I am dishing out more damage. Or I start struggling when I cannot keep the experience of my core up, which in turn lessens my core strength even more leading to me needing even more elites to replace the heightened losses. The only way to avoid this would be imho a perfect balancing for my specific skill level -> i.e. it would need to be balanced against all difficulties... .
I really think that its not worth the effort and headaches.

Hague, the Bonus trigger early, it was completed when getting 5, not 6
(But that was good, right?

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
No, I was wrong, when I complete the Bonus, it indeed gives me 2CP.so it total 3CP in this scenario, I guess the second Main objective gives the CP too?the hague objectives were in wrong order. i thought i corrected that last update. will have another look, thx.
