Galland leaving fighting service, not fighting on the Eastern Front, and assuming his historical position as General of Fighters, is the 'canon' version of events, and future... things... that reference this will reflect that version of events.

Perhaps General Galland will assign a promising Pilot to player core force in the future? I'm going with historical accuracy.

I also let Galland go to make himself a career - having Heinrich Bar in my rooster made this decision easier. 100 x Bf109G is nothing to sneeze at, but I'm still waiting for the Red Army air force to show in large numbers.

After tasting the new legendary hero system (Hans-Ulrich Rudel skillset creation), I'm secretly hoping Galland will send young Erich Hartmann my way and I'll be able to create a similar beast .

So far I really enjoy AO 1941, captured T34 tanks especially.

the prestige sink is at the start of Wlodawa, if u still have a save on that map, hit restart scenario in the menu and the prestige sink will pop up.

Nope. Didn't work for me. And i know it should. I get the Windows that i don't have enough Points to place all my units from the battle before and that i recieved the Train.
But no prestige Sink. I end up with 8 Points in Warsaw. I played all 4 Battles now again, even with resetting them. All i noticed was a very small red textline while loading but was not fast enough to screenshot it.

i finally managed to screenshot the Error that appears when i restart the Wlodawa Battle:

What am i doing wrong with this attachment system? i uploaded zip-compressed saved games, images and stuff but they keep disappearing in the Attachment-Tab when editing the Post.
I now deleted the savegames. And it keeps flipping my attachments arround. ARGH. I just strip it down to 1 picture.

line 37 is the one for the pop up of the prestige sink, but its working fine for me. no clue why it´s not working for u.

maybe check the lua file if something in ur lua is wrong line 37 should be this:

local message = string.format(tostring(difficult_choice), campaign.comm_points)

notepadd ++ is free to use and helps a lot when playing around with the lua files.

That brings up a question that I've been wondering about...what special heroes are in store for us in the next DLCs? After SCW, we've been getting 2 per DLC so far.

SCW = Galland
AO39 = Kerscher and Oleh Dir
AO40 = Elsa Kloss and Heinrich Bär
AO41 = Wirnsberger and Rudel
AO42 = ???

So we've got 1 tank hero, two (or one) fighters, one artillery, and two infantry heroes. Do you think another tank hero is due up next at least? I'd guess yes, but then who else? What do you guys think they should be in '42?

I would very much love to see a similar "grand campaign" DLC set for western allies and Red Army. Especially Red Army legendary hero rooster would open a great way to include multiple female characters. Either direct combatants or in more support positions. Hero traits are so versatile in this game that not all legendary heroes need to be direct battlefield OP demigods.

My lua file is fine. i even reinstalled the game. Still got the red error line. It really makes me want to stop playing.

Can we by chance have a quick run down of stuff that needs to be done early in the campaign to not miss anything? I've just got Operation Mercury done and I'm glad I checked here about that secret hint . But I also don't want to miss anything else beyond that before moving forward.

I suppose I can let the cat out of the bag a bit before the official post.
Honestly, the 100 KV1 (Remember you need specifically Kv-1/40s! Russians start rolling out KV-1/41s towards the end of the Campaign and those don't count for the Event.) Event is the big one that players can easily miss if they don't go hunting KV-1s like crazy (You also have to complete the Challenge Objective on the relevant Scenario for the Event to fire as well).

Just to make sure. Do you mean that you need to reach the 100 during that scenario. Or is it ok if you somehow already had 100 when you entered the scenario?
Maybe a dumb question, but really don’t want to have to redo it.

The update is mostly done. Tassadar is testing something for me before I post the full post so I' just waiting on him, but it shouldn't be too long.

I couldn't find it either and looking at the scripts there really isn't one. The Moscow cache seems to mean the Kremlin, which uses same script as caches to give you the SU-100Y. As it is included in scenario objectives, it isn't secret at least.
