need help online game crush

im play online match with friend with original game on steam , i'm on 18th turn end with 1914 scenarios, i push and take all city of serbia and they surrender, if i do it (and i try a lot of diffirent times) game close itself and turn don't be passed everytime...
Any advice or help for me?

I'm not a member of Slitherine nor a moderator, just a guy who knows a lot about the scripts within the game and I''ll be trying to help you.

When did you start your match?

If the match was started before the 17th of October your match is corrupted by Slitherine's latests system upgrade and then you're out of luck.
You won't be able to continue the match, but new matches will work fine again.

If your match was started after the 17th of October I might be able to help you but you will have to cooperate.
You will have to provide to me the ctgw.log file.
This file contains important information concerning why the game crashed.

This ctgw.log can be found in your Documents folder, so look in "My Documents\My Games\Commander The Great War".

NOTE: This log is overwritten every time you restart the game.
Please make a copy of the log right after the crash.
Do NOT RESTART the game before you've made that copy right after the crash.

Put that ctgw.log into a .zip archive and attach it to your post using the forum's "upload attachment" feature.
You can find the upload button in the bottom left corner of the reply box after you click on "full editor and preview".

Alternatively you can just open the ctgw.log with a standard text editor, scroll down to the end & mark the last few lines at the end and use copy/paste.
Paste those last few lines with the "error" message in your next forum reply, usually this holds enough information to fix a bug

I am quite convinced that this game started before October 17th, in any case I hope that if I don't conquer all the Serbian cities it might not crash, but not having tried because I didn't want to damage my turn I can't be sure.
In any case, I attach the file you ask me.
I also add all the lines of the file opened with text editor.

This 100% certainly caused by the PBEM system upgrade, it's the exact same crash message everybody else got too.

I'm sorry to say but your match got corrupted and can't be continued or fixed in any way.
You can't even surrender to remove the game from your list of matches because even then the game will likely crash.

If you want to have that match removed from your match rooster because it bothers you then you'll have to contact Slitherine support.
Write an email to:
support@slitherine.co.uk
and ask them to remove that match with Id: 2314 from your list.

This is all very annoying but there's nothing else to do, I had to do it myself.

Matches started after the 17th of October will not suffer from that bug anymore, so you can safely start or accept new challenges.
