You mean spend 197 points less in FS?
No, spend anything you want in force selection. Then, adjust your starting points up accordingly.

Say you spend all 400 pts in initial selections.
Then on the next screen, give yourself at least 400 pts to start off with.
Otherwise, you will start negative. =)

Do units cost the same in force selection that they do from the 'resources' menu?
If they do, why not skip force selection altogether?

The scenario lets you do a deployment phase for the units purchased in force selection.

BTW why can't we load troops onto the transports?

Good point. Had forgotten about that!
Then, I guess, just change the ranges of the sliders so that 'resources' will always start >0.

For me it's Wasp and some killer Rangers :mrgreen: and yes I know that but why not in the deployment phase?

The bad resource calculation is because I was using a function that is only in the beta version. I have removed the Force selection as suggested and the deploy phase, easier to apply the mod to other maps also. I will add the ability to load units in transports from the start, at least for MP. Right now I am giving minor advantages to AI, like player can only buy 9 units per turn.

I have updated the file in the first post, added 4 maps of different types, small, large, streched and one with few open spaces. The AI still has flaws and I need to look over it, but plays decent enough and you can always make it harder giving it more resources.

I removed the force selection, you start with 500 point apart from the ones selected in the options screen and the AI starts with around 700.

The paradrops work but need some help to do the animation with a C47 or similar.

So still a beta, but wanted to give you a better version as I will be out a few days, enjoy.

Deleted old game, downloaded the new version but the BA app crashes when trying to open the game?

Have also rebooted, switched off my iPad 2.

Well I tried and I preformed better than last time. Other than that All I get is a White screen before I pick a mission and sometimes it freezes during loading. I like the maps though. The most challenging was the GJS Sword beach. The AI and I keep droping Paratroopers and the same objectives. Somehow they even got trucks full of infantry to the LZ's. while the German Paras leave chutes your men don't. And after a couple drops the code stopped working altogether. May have to look into this

i can also confirm the ipad download causes a crash i love this map and eagerly await to play the new version

Axis Attack map doesn't work at all. It freezes during loading and when you leave the app it black screens you. This may be a bit too much for the iPads to handle. Or the codes are bugging it out. Only way to get the game to work is to delete then download again. Sorry for the extra work BTW :( just the iPad version is very glitched out at the moment. I'm sure Mac and PC are handling it fine!

Tap the home key. Then double tap on the Home button on the iPad to bring up a list of running processes. Hold down to bring up - buttons on each item, then you can kill off the game and restart it. Should save having to delete and reinstall!

Done everything (reboot etc) inc. deleting, adding etc. I did notice that having deleted, the download process provided to download links..... I might have cured this by stopping/restarting the app ie before cutting-n-pasting the link.

Try this all the time! Doesn't work :( and when I say delete then reinstall I mean the user scenario not the app.

PS I don't know how the PC C-47 looks like but I think there was a bug in the iPad version. So far all we get is an un textured Typhoon making a bombing run instead of a C-47.
