I hate version 2 dice

Maybe I'm retarded but I can't seem to roll as well with version 2. Now I hardly ever win a battle at the prepared offensive stage of the typhoon scenario. Three armor stacks lose routinely to two infantry stacks. I can roll twenty times and only hit one tree.

See thread above -- unless we introduced a coding error (unlikely, but possible) there was no change to combat mechanics to favor the AI.

The likely bug is benefiting the defensive side. I have played face to face over and over. The results are completely different than pre-patch. It seems to be more lopsided on the German side faring more poorly particularly on OperationTyphoon or the full scenario, but this is just my opinion. Previously I would get breakthroughs on the prepared battles, now very rarely. Also, the Russians seem to be able to stop the offensive cold... It's as if the Soviets are fielding a better army in the first phase of the war. My last uncertainty is if the command confusion is happening less. I may be wrong on this though.


If anyone wants to test or replicate these results, just play the same scenario over and over as the Germans and see what happens. Just keep playing the first turn or first few. Completely different experience in my opinion....this change motivated me enough to register tonight.
