Panzer Corp - works on Ipad
I love the game - have been looking for something like this for years.
I want to post to let you know that Panzer Corp works just fine on an iPad with Spashtop remote (http://www.splashtop.com/remote).
Not only do the sound and graphics work ok, but the game controls as they are work ok - mouse left and right clicks.
Now I can sit in bed (it is Winter here in Aus.) and play Panzer Corp.
Of course if you happen to come out with a tablet version I'll buy that anyway.
regards
John R

Re: Panzer Corp - works on Ipad
Hmm, I read somewhere Panzer Corps is actually coming to iPad. Wondering, if I will have to buy another copy in addition to my PC version. Also wondering, if I did, could I use my old PC serial number so I don't have different identities in case I just wanted to play the same games under my PC serial on Multiplayer.

iPads don't allow us to issue serials so it works in a different way. However you would be given the option to link your iPad to an existing account.
You will be able to play games either on PC or iPad, even start the turn on PC, upload a partially complete turn to server and finish it off on iPad. This is how Battle Academy works currently.

Re: Panzer Corp - works on Ipad
Nice news, I will be telling my iPad using friend about this.
For those unaware, Splashtop remote (common to anyone using Android), is software that only sends the signal to your device from the real source ie a desktop or laptop generally speaking.
So, it is important to remember, it can run on an iPad, but won't actually be ON the iPad just as it is not actually ON my Asus eeepad transformer Android using tablet.
So if Slitherine graces the iPad community with a release, you WILL need to buy that copy to use it from an actual install ON the iPad.
You need wireless generally speaking for Splashtop, so if you have no means to connect, it ain't happening.
But with wireless, you can even play out of home through the internet just so long as your signal source (your computer) is running. That's the thing eh, your source has to be on.

I've also been playing on my Ipad via Splashtop Remote. Because it's streaming from my laptop, the graphics are a little bit fuzzy, but it certainly works well enough. When can we expect to see the Ipad version of PC?

Perhaps in the third quarter of 2012.

"Perhaps in the third quarter of 2012."
This also applies to the Mac-version?

Anybody here? So I have to ask again: Can we expect the mac-version in this millenium?
