I know about the fix, but the early Soviet entry has made for a very interesting game, so I will not apply it just yet. I have just encountered the large fleet of Allies CVs in the Med which is hammering the Italians and a German TAC air unit I moved into Sicily. I see from another thread that this...

I am in Turn 14 of Fall Gelb (Axis v AI) and the French have just offered the armistice, which I accepted, I didn't take Nantes, but did achieve two encirclements which have removed most of the BEF and all the French mobile units, got as far as Tours, Le Mans and Dijon, so there is no hope for Fran...

Currently in the 1.00 version to trigger Vichy Event you have to get: Paris, Metz, Reims, Nantes and Tours or Paris, Metz, Reims, Nantes and Caens or Paris, Lille, Reims, Nantes and Tours or Paris, Lille, Reims, Nantes and Caens or Paris, Metz, Lille, Nantes and Tours or Paris, Metz, Lille, Nantes ...

I'm making this scenario from a scratch. It should take some time as the map is completely new and needs a lot of setup, the same as scenario itself. Most probably I'll release it in beta stage. Happy New Year! I will not say – I told you, but I told you :D . I told you before game were released an...

Re: Comparison to CEaW ?
How does this game compare to Commader Europe at War? Better/worse AI? Better/worse multiplayer? It's a completely different level of detail, ToF being much more advanced and thus requiring more time spent. That said - the AI is actually much better, the ability to play any country makes for better...

It would be great a quick hotfix for the Romania/URSS Bessarabia affair forcing Germany to war in june 1940, which ruins the Grand Campaign absolutely, please. Here it is: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2987023 I have had some doubts because you haven’t answered all of my questions but ...

Thanks for information. I will do the same or we can try PBEM against each other? I can play one or two turns per day in late afternoon hours (CET). Are you interested? I am interested, but I prefer to wait a little time before, to get familiar with the gameplay. As the Grand Campaign seems to be u...

Problem fixed for next release, Romania will not pull Germany into the war for Bessarabia. Decision will be left to the German side. How will it be implemented, will there be no chance of early Soviet entry, or could we have a tick box option to have the possibility of an early entry at low odds, j...

No, unfortunatly you are right... Russia has praticly no army but declared war (every time Romania become Axis)... Very bad thing, I played 2 games with the same result (and this is not the only problem with diplomacy !) . As the developpers do not seems to change this bug (for the moment - see pos...

Continuing with the game: I have got Vichy event finally. On what circumstances this event is available? I have managed to take Norway also with amphibious assault on Narvik (I took Oslo much before). There was no Norway or British unit in it even I have got event that it is under Allied control? No...

I do understand where you're coming from with this, but if we impose such a restriction on AI we will be seeing situations like Paris is empty and British troops are just standing by. I am not a programmer (I am just Microsoft Enterprise administrator  ) so I will believe you but when you hav...

Coming back to OP's suggestions - I like 3, but I can't agree with 1 and 2 - any restrictions on AI making it more realistic instead of more challenging are a bad thing to me, a player would use UK's troops like that. Also I do not think that any situation when you have absolute knowledge of the co...

Few suggestions for better gameplay and more realistic game
1.)When I have attacked France, British troops has been defending Paris. To my opinion, this is a little unrealistic. You should add some French-British restrictions in early years of war like British units cannot enter Paris, limited number of British land and air troops in French territory etc. Th...

Seems perfectly logical that bad weather would keep a unit with 1 AP from moving forward one more hex. Maybe the roads are washed out, visibility is lower, so commanders are more cautious, etc. With all due respect, this is rubbish. You can’t use this reasons in this kind of game. In tactical game ...

My first impressions
In my first impression I will not say anything about gameplay. Need more time/turns for that. I will talk about interface, map, diplomacy and illogicality. In short – I am a little disappointed. Interface: If we compare TOW with TOF interface, TOF interface is with more information’s but not user-fr...
