Re: multiplayer ?

I would just like to hear from the Developers for AGGRESSORS if they gave up on HOTSEAT or they are planning to implement it sometime in the near future? Hello athineos, the hotseat still has several issues which havent been addressed so hotseat is not about to be allowed officially. On the other h...

How do you change the culture of a player in a scenario?
Look into playerModelAvailabilities element for each player. To be precise - there is no such a thing as culture of a player. You can mix it per your liking.

Re: Choose specific AI Opponent for New Customized World scenario

Hello athineos, I am glad you are enjoying the custom world generator. I finally understand the reason why would you like to have this feature implemented. I am adding this to our "features wishlist" because there can be more players like you, who would enjoy that. On the other hand, there already e...

Re: Choose specific AI Opponent for New Customized World scenario

There are differences amont army types indeed and I agree that players should be "placed" on map depending on the terrain around its initial cities. I think that is a very reasonable request. Is this what you are asking for or you still ask for choosing particular factions to be placed on the map? I...

Re: Choose specific AI Opponent for New Customized World scenario

add the option to choose what nation you want to play against in the new customized world scenario? Hello again, it is an interesting request but I might be missing the actual reason for that. What would be the difference in which players were chosen for random map? I mean there wouldnt be any diff...

Hello athineos,
there is no way to "change" the nation once it is placed on the map

But this city is only building an improvement. Does that also count as no-growth?

Re: Quick Play Strategy Guide

I would need to see that particular situation, but it seems like someone else (another player) owns that one tile, no? You need to conquer that tile to be part of the city range.

Re: Run as Administrator

Hello lordhoff.
Just to be clear - by "login to the game as administration" you mean you turned off the in-build editor by pressing Alt+A in game or you start the game with administrator rights?
If it is the latter, it should not make any difference.

Re: Quick Play Strategy Guide

Hello springel.
The reason might be that you dont have enough citizens to build/recruit a new unit. I would recommend to not recruit any units till you reach at least 20 citizens.

Re: Installing the Game update v1.0.7

Hello again,
here is number of dev streams, both informative as well as gameplay. I definitely recommend the first where I try to explain in a nutshell all the rules.
For gameplay, watch the last one (and there are two follow ups)

Hello Athineos,
you need to download just the last one. If you have Steam key, I would suggest to get the Steam version which downloads updates automatically.

Re: Quick Play Strategy Guide

Hello athineos, welcome to the forum! The game has tutorial - simple and advanced tutorial which should explain the basics of the game. If you want a bit better introduction (and not yet that detailed as manual is), I would recommend the first dev stream where I try to explain everything in a nutshe...

Re: size of scenarios

I prefer the smaller scenarios as well. Smaller means smaller than the campaign map? So I need to get a review up on Steam now that I have had time to play it. We would definitely appreciate it, thank you! I would gladly buy another era of war using this system. WW2 is obvious, but we have a lot of...

Re: How do these items work?

Initial version (from which you might have seen some screenshots) had lower food consumption. That's why you might think that having 1000 food should be normal. It was vastly reduced. Having 70-100 food should be more than enough. There is a big difference between food and any other resource. Food c...

Re: How do these items work?

Food: I haven't checked but it is likely due to the number of mobile units. I would definitely check the Resource usage window where everything is calculated in detail. Low is in comparison to others which are often at 1.4k as an example. I would say that those are screenshots/statements before the...
