Re: Crashing and error message
My opponent's name is Pat Eller. Email address is ****. he's definitely not running it under linux. So I don't know about the driver, or even which driver Pip means.

Re: Crashing and error message
In case it helps, I find it behaves exactly the same whether it's single or multiplayer. I.e. it crashes while loading the game.

That file I pasted in was called error.log. I'll start the turn again to repeat the crash and send you the file.

Re: Crashing and error message
I'm getting a crash message when loading the latest turn in a plain Fog II Med generated skirmish:
***Unhandled Exception ExpCode 0xC00000005 ExpFlags
0 ExpAddress 0x0055D620 Please report!
So, I'm reporting it

Re: No stalemates allowed?
Thanks 76mm and stockwellpete. I've deleted them. Not sure why I didn't see the X before.
I agree 76mm, not sure they should have no turn limit. Or at least darkness should be reflected in the game.

No stalemates allowed?
For the first time, my opponent and I ended up a Historical battle (Emesa) at 59% at the end of turn 24. To our surprise the game continued until he manage to catch a fragmented archer on turn 27 or 28 and the game ended. How long would it have continued otherwise, until someone wins? Are stalemates...

Re: Routing Mechanics
A screenshot would be good, because I don't understand what you are describing, a routing unit only stops if it rallies to fragmented, and it cannot rally until the pursuers stop pursuing! It won't happen in our current game (Clontarf, so no horse) but I'll keep an eye out for it and post a pic. (i...

Re: Routing Mechanics
Yes, I meant exactly that the router flees for 2-3 turns, for example, and then stops for some number of turns, or permanently but the pursuing horse stays locked in pursuit the whole time. I've seen this happen times over the course of hundreds of MP games over the last three or so years, that I wo...

Re: Routing Mechanics
3) It isn't a set five turns. There's a % chance to stop after the first turn of pursuit. And it's not an automatic cohesion drop already, just your standard guaranteed +50POA for charging an unengaged unit in the flank. This brings up my pet peeve about routing/pursuing. That is, I regularly see b...

movement bug?
I really don't understand this, I can move to the remote position but not anywhere along the way:
which prevents me from protecting the exposed unit.
