Re: Any chance to have functioning commandos?
I like the idea of them having mechanics similar to subs. Move fast: Can be spotted like standard infantry. Move slow: Invisible unless a unit tries to tries to share the hex. Also suggest a 2 hex range attack ability. This would simulate a raid. Think LRDPG drives into airfield, shuts it up and the...

Re: Couple Questions
The flight path for the enemy will show you where the plane would go in the next turn if it followed the same path as the previous turn. It does not show you where the plane is planning to go. So if a plane was flying straight and level then I would have to guess which way it might turn? Surly been...

I'd like to add a question if I may.
If the flight paths are planned simultaneously how do you follow another plane?

Re: Kriegsmarine: Flak Battery
Hi.
Didn't get the screen you posted.
I did, however start the Kriegmarine Campaign to check it had installed correctly and then re-started the Blitzkrieg Campaign.
Flak unit pop up now appeared as the screen shot.

Kriegsmarine: Flak Battery
On the campaign screen the Kriegsmarine medal advises the I should have access to a Flak Battery in Blitzkrieg campaign.
I own Kriegsmarine and have just started the Blitzkrieg campaign but do not see the unit anywhere.
Should there be something else I should be doing to have this unit?
Cheers

Re: Brave New World (total conversion) -v1.0
Will follow with interest.
Happy to have a go at play testing single player scenarios when the become available. Not something I've done before but will to give it a go.
As for the screen shots I think I would prefer counters over a old style map board.

Re: conboy's campaigns
Just finished the Anzio Breakout scenario. A few points if I may. 1) Had the same issue with Phase II objectives as mentioned above. Shown as failed on turn 17 and then OK on turn 19. 2) 2/6th Inf unit shows as a CCA unit and not CCB. 1/6th shows as CCB. 3) There is a route maker on the right of the...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Completed the second Anzio scenario on my first attempt. Turn one. I flattened the line out from the default set up positions and linked up with the Brits on the left and the others on the right who I pushed up. This meant I had a couple of spare INF and Eng units. Behind the INF line was the AT lin...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Hi conboy. Completed the Anzio landing in 2 attempts. Lost the first one when I failed to capture the last objective. Had a unit next to it but could not get the defending German to back out. Following my err, Reconnaissance in Force, my second attempt was a lot better. More aggressive moving up the...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Sorry it took you 3 tries, but it's a difficult scenario. conboy Don't apologies for my poor play. Enjoyed replaying and correcting my mistakes. Adjusted how I handle these situations going forward. I now mass my Divisional Arty with a single RCT along with Tac Air support. Use the mobility they ha...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Completed Sicily and moved on to Italy. Scenario 3 SanF caught me out. It took 3 attempts. 1) Charged straight in and got smashed by the Arty at the Phase II objectives, took a few turns recover, but to late to complete by turn 22. 2) Better deployment and by better plan got Phase II by turn 18. The...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Hi conboy.
Firstly, congrats for getting the campaign in to the community content.
Second, now played this scenario 4 times and only failed once as reported above. Just your luck if this error happens on the first go.
Moving on to the next one.

Re: conboy's campaigns
Sorry conboy, should have been more specific. I think finding out the Boogie Man is real and not just in moves throw me. I think the recon unit sneaks down at some point and passes through a Phase I Obj. Cheers https://i.postimg.cc/PqQvsVD2/US-3rd-Div-SS-3.png https://i.postimg.cc/HxSJjJBM/US-3rd-Di...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Second play through worked. I left a unit in each of the Phase I objectives to ensure they remained mine.
Took the liberty to have a look in the editor and saw the boogie man. May I suggest you make him a light tank, that way players would see the flag change.
Cheers

Re: conboy's campaigns
Hi conboy. Two points to raise in the Sicily scenario. 1) When advised that the P40's are leaving only 2 out of 3 leave. 2) Completed Phase I objectives by turn 5 and collected the three RCT Phase II objectives by turn 12. Then realized I had the Ranger Phase II still to get. Got that on turn 15. Wh...

Re: conboy's campaigns
Just wanted to say, really impressed with this campaign even though I've only played the first combat scenario.
The historical feel with the named units, colours, intro brief etc. is excellent.
On to Sicily.
