That's an interesting thought and a good idea. The best heroes like Zero Slots or Double Fire come with a minus 10 or 20 Prestige per turn. That would definitely put a unique spin on super heroes. After all... you got to pay to play :)

Makes me wonder if you couldn't just set a flag for the mission. If it's multiplayer, have the paratroopers lose their ability to drop after movement, if it's single-player, have them keep the ability. I agree that a turn of inaction after an amphibious landing would make more sense and add meaningful and realistic challenge to amphibious scenarios. This would also be the proper way to fix paras... let them land in the same turn, but lose all movement points. I hope they change to this in the nex...

I like the para change. A lot. Eben-Emael specifically could use a tweak but please don't dumb it back down... You should look at it from a Scenario Design perspective. The current change to paras cripples the AI's use of them. The drop zone can't be a random move and now they sit in the air transp...

Can air transports just be delayed a set number of turns with Lua script on the MP scenarios? This would resolve the MP issue while also not effecting DLC play.

The random move Editor script cannot be used with air transports, so this will negatively impact the AI’s effectiveness with paratroops. I’m imagining a D-Day scenario where the 101st Airborne gets completely shot out of the sky by the Axis player’s second playthrough… :shock:

I think this was done with the intention to balance MP matches. I feel your pain in regards to DLC play, but there are some gamey exploits done at the start of most MP matches with airborne troops. There could be some more reasons, but this is the main one that I know of. I’d prefer the unit to lose...

Was the weather condition rainy? There are times when enemy aircraft will remain in the sky from previous turn and the weather condition is rainy. Rain prevents all air combat both from the sky and to the sky.

I am not using the mods of R2G2 - so no Naval Anti-Air or Ranged Destroyers mod (and had it never activated) - there should not be any "unwanted" hidden remnants. Maybe someone can investigate this... Thanks for clarifying. I assumed you were talking about my Naval AA mod in the last disc...
