- if your opponent takes days then perhaps look for more responsive players and stick with them - you can always load up the turn when it's received, view the replay and save to mull over your response before firing back in anger - an option as you described would be nice but I'd rather see dev time...

for some reason it only shows up in multiplayer games, not single player.

cool! v2.0 certainly works for me in terms of starting to flash when there's a new turn waiting, but once I've uploaded all turns it keeps flashing. Mind you, not sure how often it updates. Cheers!!

edit: ah nvm, it stopped flashing about 10 mins after I finished the last outstanding game turn.

Also, over time this will allow us to observe win loss ratios and work the better options for balanced mp games.

thanks vpaulus (sorry to hear about that stalingrad thing, bummer dude) but I'm already invoking the exe directly. I meant removing the branding splash that displays prior to the main screen loading. It's only a few seconds but I am frequently accessing the game each day for mp.

I think this forum could do with a FOGII 'Player Location' stickied thread to keep track of where in the world people are playing (helpful for multiplayer games and tournaments). Simply copy and paste the whole list along with these instructions, each time adding your own name and location in alphab...

I had everything at max. Now playing at 2xAA and low shadows and that's made a difference. I looked at the processor again and its a 960m but I don't know much about the mobile processor attributes. cheers

It's a Dell XPS 9550: 15.6in (1920x1080) IPS 16:9 screen. Nvidia GTX 960M GPU Intel Core i5-6300HQ 6th-gen 'Skylake' chip. 8GB 2133MHz DDR4 RAM (4GB x2) 256GB SSD I have used nvidia inspector to ensure vsync is off. Have also tried the windowed trick with no success. I will refresh the usual culprit...

high end gaming laptop using nvidia card mouse-lags with vsync disabled. Reminds me of the bad old 486 days. Similar spec desktop runs fine. Confusiled.
