Played a few hours: one small scenario and the first two turns as the Germans in Wacht am Rhein.
Loving it so far!

I worked at MicroProse when the original Master of Orion and Master of Magic were published, and have the fondest memories of both.
SimTex and Steve Barcia were the real stars! True genius.

Why not release the content that is approved by the creators as a new product so that it is easily accessible.
I think that fans would would happily pay for expansions with more content to games they enjoy.

Re: Victory and Glory: Ask anything!
Each scenario begins with a few cards that are in the player's hand every time, and a few more that are randomized every time.
Some of the later scenarios also have cards that are already activated.
Once the game begins, the cards that the player gets during the game are randomized.

Thanks Iain.
I thought that I might have missed something.
That's the scenario for me then.

Re: Is this the biggest gaming fail since ET?
I don't think that it's gone from mobile platforms. On the contrary, I believe that Slitherine will not only listen to the feedback and solve the current issues on mobile, but will take the engine and make new games in the series and expand the audience greatly. This will be a win for fans of the se...

Re: A note about AI
While I've got your ear, I also wanted to mention that it would be fun to be able to finish games won on points. Call me a masochist, but I enjoy finishing the enemy after I've got them down. ;-) Is that a feature that is already in there and I just haven't seen, or something that can be easily adde...

Re: A note about AI
Cool! I knew you would. You guys are so great about supporting your products. And with the computing power of PC's, gone are the days of staring at my iPad for 5 or 10 minutes waiting for the AI to figure out a move. I'm LOVING the PC version of Bulge and can't wait for more! Thanks for rescuing thi...

Re: Anyone still prefer Bulge over Moscow?
Hang in there Redwing. I know it can be frustrating, but Slitherine are great about supporting their games and I'm sure that they will fix it shortly. The benefits of getting improved (IMHO) versions of these games with better AI and a PC version are (to me) totally worth any teething troubles in th...

Re: Is this the biggest gaming fail since ET?
I have a different perspective on this. I was a huge fan of the original series on iPad and played each of three games many, many times. I couldn't wait to get my hands on PC versions of these three games, and downloaded Bulge on day one. I am very grateful to be able to play this game on my main ga...

Re: A note about AI
That's great news! The AI needed an upgrade. That said, the Ai could still use some more improvement. I've played twice now as the Germans and once against the Allies against the better AI opponents in the full campaign Bulge scenario, and I was able to beat them early on points every time. As the A...

Re: PC vs Ipad version
The game is very re-playable. I own all three games in the series and have played each of them at least 20 times.
There are a couple of different commanders, each with a different style and difficulty, and then there are two sides.
For $10 you can't lose!
Very fun game.

Re: Anyone still prefer Bulge over Moscow?
I prefer Moscow as it's bigger, and with more room to maneuver. The AI seemed to have a hard time though. Even at the hardest level it was a little too easy. I'm really enjoying the PC version of Bulge. I hope the AI is tougher at the higher levels. I'm about to head to the top and see how it plays.

Re: Ravenmark: Scourge of Estellion is released!
Great conversion to PC!
I played this game on my iPad, but eventually became tired of trying to maneuver those tiny, tiny units.
The game looks great on my big screen, and is so much easier to play.
Well done!

Just bought it on Steam. Played three times so far. Loving it.
Great cross-section between a 'Euro-style' game and a light strategy-wargame.

How 'Cheat-y' is the AI in Magnifico? I am really enjoying the game. I played at the lowest difficulty level the first two times and got the hang of the game. During the second game I eventually thought that the AI was not playing very well, and was going to be disappointed that the AI was not very ...

Re: Deal of the Week: Hannibal – Rome and Carthage
This is one of the most fun and challenging strategy games that I have ever played. The UI takes a minute to learn as it's not intuitive, but it is totally worth it. Over the last few years, I've played the game 40 times or more and enjoyed every minute of it!

Re: The AI is bloody awful
The AI is certainly not as good as most human players, especially of they've been playing strategy games for a while (about 40 years for this guy). On the other hand, I'm playing the Barbarossa campaign and the AI's play is probably not too dissimilar to how the Soviets really performed. My goal is ...
