MP connection-join problem

Wanted to play today with piter, first 1.1.4, but there was a connection error, when joining. Then we tried it with 1.1.2. and the connection error still occured.
He and I already played MP games, he with other americans and I with other europeans

Artillery is really powerful

lost a good mp game, 'cause of art units. It's worth a tooltip, that, when units get damaged in a turn, then they don't heal this round. That's very unlike to other games. That's very powerful. Yet, I don't have a final opinion on that. Have to play more mp games, but maybe the heal rate should only...

Not sure what you mean about the tech - I play on the default setting and all techs are available in every game, but not all are visible. Or at least, I've never noticed a missing tech! hm, I missed for example the +2 habitat size for free tech in t1 or factory t2 or no mech t1, when played with no...

Overload/Last Stand/Heroism ( something like that) : one unit get 100% attack and 100% defense bonus. Dies in the next turn. Can be used on own and enemy units. Can only be cast once every 3 turns. Imho, it's to easy right now to be best friends with all other factions, except the divines. Means, if you have enough military power at begin you get economic,science agreement, besides non-aggression, open borders and sharing the maps, even on very hard. Game speed - turn effects

Right now it doesn't matter if playing very fast or marathon, farmers need 4 turns to make a improvement, heal 10%/20% per turn, cloning lasts 10 turns, and and and..
Imho it would be better if turn-effects scale with game speed.

I have played now my 4th game, terra salvum, very hard and very hard, huge map. ( my second game with this setting ). And each time the computer enemies that are landlocked in the middle are going to die through the aliens. That's sad. But even then, the other computer players are far to weak. Maybe...
