I bought BA2 as a consolation for the fact that I can't run PK2 on my old rig, and I love this game!
Does BA 1 have the random map and victory plug ins for its editor a la BA 2?

In an attempt to improve performance, I lowered screen resolution to one of the lower settings, and I can't see the submit button anymore because it is stretched beyond the screen. Actually, by 'formation movements,' I was talking about the simultaneous movements of the units in an AI group, a la FOG 2. I should have said 'group movements.' Good list. The removal or extension of the 64 - unit limit is my greatest wish, closely followed by the graphical representation of casualties and formation movements. Residual fire phase option, a la Pike and Shot; more fortifications, a la Pike and Shot; coverage of 1600-1800, a la Pike and Shot and mods...ok just take Pike and Shot, and somehow make it as amazing as FOG2....or just do Pike and Shot 2.....

As I wrote in my update to the original post, the processing of moves sped up after the first turn, but I'd recommend checking (if you have not done so already) that the formations are still working post beta patch.

I'm worried. AI has stopped moving in formation, even when far from my army, and the processing of the individual moves seems MUCH slower. Lovely mod - much appreciated. Noticed tiny graphical bug: shield flicker 2nd and 3rd line Roman and Italic spear; glitch is similar to the one for the levy spear fixed by the last patch before this one.Happens during melees.
