Re: Storming Calais - Thank You
Hoplite1963 Yes, that is correct. I did start work on the Calais 1558 scenario, but never finished. I have some extra free time coming up, and will try to complete the Calais scenario and a few others that are near to completion. Because as soon as FOG2 is released I have no doubt that my head will ...

Re: Storming Calais - Thank You
Thnx for the feedback, Glad you enjoyed...... I have a number of scenario's that I must get around too making available. One of which may interest you...... The siege of St Elmo, Malta 1565. Just needs a little polishing, with scenario's for playing either the Turks or the Christian defenders. Regards

Re: 30 years war scenarios ?
There is a way to change side with the AI but the scenario must be balanced and tested again, but it could be interesting reversing side for all scenarios! Could you do it ? I can playtest it. Hi. I would be happy to remake my scenario's (Dessau, Fleurus, Lens & Tornavento) playable from the ot...

Re: Let's have a look at modding - Part I
Thanks for this. I somehow missed the Cotes Bridge scenario. It certainly looks like it wasn't made with any time constraints. A lovely looking map. Just started it. Thanks Warlord! Hope you enjoy the scenario, let me know how you got on with it. I have fallen behind a bit with my scenario making r...

Re: Winwick Pass Scenario
Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the scenario. In my defence I would just like to say that it was one of my earlier creations, and I was not fully aware of all the options available to me...... Maybe capture the village and hold it for 'x' amount of turns, might have worked better. Hindsight is ...

Re: Blenheim 1704?
I would love to do it. But unfortunately I don't posses the skills (modding) to do it justice. Wish you well with it though, and look forward to the finished product. Good luck.

Re: Winceby
Could you do the battle of Dussindale? It's interesting because a loyalist force made up of 3/4th cavalry with some pikemen and harquebusiers engaged a much larger rebel army of billmen and bowmen. The rebels had more artillery too. I will certainly look into it, and see what I can come up with. I ...

Re: Kingmaker
The English civil war 'mod' - For King or Country - for Total war. The battles were very good, but the campaign was terrible. The enemy never left their starting positions, and the only aggressive move they made was a Scottish army attacking Newcastle, which was easily repulsed. Otherwise I find the...

Re: Kingmaker
I did a similar campaign some years ago with my local wargames club, with each player taking the part of a Lord from the game. Worked really well, with plenty of back-stabbing and many open battles. Although I am not so keen on using pike & shot to fight medieval battles (plenty of other program...

Review on You Tube
I recently discovered on you tube a review of Pike & Shot, using one of my scenario's. The battle of the Dunes, is one of my earlier efforts and therefore not my best. But still pleased that it has been used. Should anybody wish to watch I have listed the locations of the parts below...... https...

Re: Battle of Alton
Just finished this scenario, victory was mine. I was a little concerned at first, thought I would not be able to unit my forces. Held firm at the bridge and united the rest of the troops at the village, where I managed to repulse a number of assaults. A very good scenario, intense and fast paced. We...

Re: Powick Bridge 1642 and Battle of Alton 1643 ECW
Glad you enjoyed it.... Cropredy Bridge is still my favourite scenario, followed by Dunbar (which I am in the process of improving). I prefer to create historical scenario's but occasionally I like to experiment with different idea's.... ie my Quatre Bras scenario. I don't think that one was receive...

Re: Powick Bridge 1642 and Battle of Alton 1643 ECW
Played the scenario last night - fast and fun little clash. The result could have gone either way, but I managed to snatch a victory. A very good first attempt, reminded me a lot of my first scenario (cropredy bridge v1). Keep up the good work, I look forward to any other's that you make available. ...

Re: First Attempt to create a scenario
Hi.... Just a quick message to wish you luck on your scenario creations. I put together a few of my own in the past, and was a little overawed at first. My first attempt's were very poor but I like to think that I improved over time. If I can be of any help, please ask. I don't know as much as other...

Re: pike joke ???
Not sure what the problem is with Pyrrhus 17. But the easiest solution has to be to just stop playing the game if you do not like it. I see no reason to bad mouth Richard, who clearly put his heart and soul into creating this game, and continues to do so. No game is ever going to be all things to al...
