Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v2.0

Bit confused by this...are we not allowed upgrades on the first term? Still not sure what cities are allowed for upgrades.

Re: Just upgraded my PC to Gold.

I understand that PzC II is in the works, but will there be anymore updates to the original PzC game?

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

This looks very efficient, I used to take too much time in all my playthroughs, incl. in my AAR... So the pillboxes don't shoot at you at all? The 8.8 is good againt pillboxes though.... I've played this scenario dozens of times and have always had the same result. If the pillboxes do attack, the i...

Situation after turn 3. Question: How do you all approach Tobruk? I always assault it immediately.

Turn 2 situation around Tobruk. Crusader smashed outside Fort Capuzzo and entrenched infantry gone.

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

Thanks, it’s very interesting to read how others approach this map, I am with you on most points. When do you attack Moscow, i.e. after turn 11? I move to seize the Rzhev-Mozhaisk-Kaluga line as quickly as humanly possible. Using the panzerblitz and recon cars paving the way to Smolenk, and then mo...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

My strategy is as follows, I've kept it consistent over the years and found that this is the most successful strategy: 1. Immediately surrounding Tobruk. Bring in the Italian air reinforcements from near Malta and start pounding away at the Allies with artillery, air, and coordinated attacks. Rommel...

Re: Me.109E vs. 109F

The Fritz, even with the less attack power, is more valuable in the long run than the Emil due to the better range and initiative. Hell, it's arguably at least on an even keel with the early Gustavs. Ultimately though, I stay with the Gustav because the Spitfires, La-5s, and Yak9s become mighty toug...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

McGuba question

One of the favorite things I love about your mod is the real pictures and skins. Is it possible to use just those in my grand campaign? The full mod isn't compatible with the grand campaign unfortunately.

The most devastating artillery unit I've ever had was a +1 range +3 attack Maultier that just obliterated Soviets.

Re: Best Infantry Unit

Pioneres are generally always my front line assault troops, and are also normally my most experienced and decorated units and I generally always keep at least 2 in my core. Infantry is excellent, and I normally have 6-8 in my core. Grenadiers are my workhorse units that provide excellent defense and...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

Another question regarding unit upgrades: Is the fact that units like infantry are available for upgrade in 44 as opposed to 43 for game balance purposes?

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.9

I have a suggestion on an addition for 2.0. During the course of the war in the west, the Atlantic wall is slowly built (I.E pillboxes, forts) being awarded after certain points in time. I am not sure what you mean by this as several strongpoints and fortesses start to appear on the map from 1942-4...

Re: Order of Battle: Vision of all campaigns

I'd still love to see a Japanese Defensive campaign from the Solomons to Gilberts to Marshalls to New Guinea, Rabaul, Truk, Marianas, Philippines, Palau, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Home Islands.

Also, Soviets in Manchuria.
