Re: Update 1.2 brings new scenarios and AIs
Almost $20.00 for everything, that is crazy since what you added finally made the game worth (maybe) the original ten dollars. I keep hoping that value and replayability will be their for North Africa battle. The maps are good looking (still not sure about the "Risk" type areas), I like th...

Re: Price drop?
Folks, While I obviously disagree with what Don's saying, I will ask that people refrain from personal attacks here and elsewhere. That's not what this forum is about. We value everyone's feedback and open debate, but not attacks on the speaker. Battle of the Bulge is a learning experience for us a...

Re: Price drop?
And when did I insult you? I say what I have to say based on the game and developers, I respect your opinions and would not think of insulting you. Lets keep it civil as the developers have asked previously. I left that they devalue their game by a price reduction this soon.

Re: Price drop?
Excuse me. While you may consider it bashing, I consider it possible useful criticism. If you have read all I have written you would think twice about the comment of games that I play. Note that I started with AH games in the 1960s and actually played war games prior to that with the MB American her...

Re: Price drop?
No the past two months were not worth the extra money. I doubt if it is even worth that. While improved it does not offer much. It did get me to pull out some out AH games and remember why I started playing war games way back in the 60s. Discounts are common but this is way to early. Battle Academy ...

Price drop?
What the heck. Only two months after release and already a 33% price reduction. I know now not to purchase any Shenandoah games when they come out. Oh what a sucker I am.

Re: Re. Update
I can agree about a Chat feature. Not being able to send a message with your turn removes, in my opinion, an enjoyable aspect of multi-player. It can build a greater sense of community and adds a sense of actually playing a real person. My major want is more scenarios, based on the game as is in the...

I think the strength of this game lies in its multiplayer matchmaking and accessibility...Towards the end of leveraging its success as a multiplayer game, I think further updates should focus on enhancing the community support and game center integration. I couldn't agree more... http://www.shenand...

Re: Re. Update
Crikey, as a fellow customer, MesaDon, I'm a little weirded out by your response. Your expectations are WAY beyond unrealistic, they're approaching insane. Because a user wants some new feature means it should get rammed in there right away? Pissing on the company because they're not keeping you in...

Re: Re. Update
The developers have not posted that they were updating or the what and why. They have not, at this time, even given a blueprint or a plan so the purchasers would have hope for the future. Sadly this is a trend among many iOS developers who rush on to the next project and leave the buyer holding the ...

Re: Re. Update
I believe expectations are realistic that more could be done that being said I really must say there is little staying power with the game. Lots of flash but little behind it. Unlike some people who post on forums I am not a tool but give my opinion god or bad based on my thoughts. I do not try to b...

Re: Re. Update
Is that the whole update? Three things? With the number of request by the community, I am shocked that is all that happened. I believe there were many requests to allow the battle to continue past early victory conditions met to allow players to play all 13 days. I am starting to feel this is way ov...

Add option to continue battle till the end of the 13 days and progressive levels of victory. More scenarios.

Re: Non historical scenarios?
Jeff, if you provided the ability to import the starting location and strength of units, the reinforcement/replacement schedule and VP values of areas then users could generate some of these alternate scenarios. Could be as simple as a CSV file. You guys can have a contest for user generated scenar...

Re: Game Annoyances
I felt that nigel's problem was that frequently you never make it close to the 28th and he would like the opportunity to run the whole game length. I agree has while I am a poor player I have stumbled to victory (and the early ending of the game) the few times I have played the full scenario. I have...

I totally agree with nigel_ht and also would like to play through the 13th day. Also not so concerned with the points but the fun of the game.

Re: State of the game
I have enjoyed the game since release but I feel that a continuation options to allow players to extend play to December 28th is needed. I know this has been mentioned before but I feel it is important to the replay ability of the game. Maybe (this isn't original) you can have different degrees of v...

Re: Idea for a better Game Center experience
Take into account time zones. If I play on the western US and my foe is in maybe England, you would need a fairly large time. I certainly do not wish to be tired to my iPad so I don't forfeit or lose a turn.
