Re: Unit Navigator Tool
I checked and it's not that (it used to work before on both browsers). Anyway, I'm not using it for now as I'm not playing so here's to hoping it will fix itself!
I was just curious if anyone else has the same problem as my issue is on two different browsers/computers.

No problems - loads fine for me. But same as Bruce I'm using an older build of the Firefox browser (v56.0.1, before they started changing the look of things I finally got used to...).13obo wrote:I was just curious if anyone else has the same problem as my issue is on two different browsers/computers.
BTW Mojko, the new "SdKfz. 135/1 (2195)" unit's missing the pic
Re: Unit Navigator Tool
Can you please make a screenshot of the console and network tabs in chrome after you load the page? It's difficult to tell what is the problem without any error message.13obo wrote:Thanks for the tips, guys. Unfortunately, the page still doesn't work after clearing the cache on my Internet Explorer at work and at the Chrome browser at home. Screenshot of view I get:
There will be a message displayed in case the JavaScript is disabled. So that's not the case.Shards wrote:You might have javascript disabled?
There are actually many units that are missing images. I haven't received any new batches of images from devs so that's why the images are missing.GabeKnight wrote:

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
@13obo I tested this tool with following browsers and here are the results (all latest versions):
- Chrome: works
- Safari: works
- FireFox: works
- Edge: works
- Internet Explorer: doesn't work and will never work (the browser is too old for the new React technology)
My advice is to pick the browser of your choice that works and upgrade to latest version.

Yes, fortunately or unfortunately depending upon how you look at it, IE11 is swiftly heading for the trash heap if it's not there already.

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
Thanks for reporting, but I'm aware that some unit images are missing. I'm using images that were exported from the game provided by Aristocrats. If an image is missing, there isn't much I can do. I'm happy to add missing images if someone can provide them to me. Here is a list of our current images. If you want to submit unit images, please keep the same format as other images we already have.

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
Hi Mojko, just a quick question... maybe it's heresy but I'm curious
Would it be possible to use an external source for data (for example from my server) ? You know what I mean, now you are using the stock csv but it would be really useful for me to see the modded units I've created. Comparison, bugs whatever.
Is it possible and how big work would it be?

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
Oh, that's a very interesting idea. I think it should be pretty straightforward to implement, provided your modded files have the same file structure as the original ones. I will have a look at this next weekend.Admiral_Horthy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 23, 2018 5:09 am Hi Mojko, just a quick question... maybe it's heresy but I'm curious

Basically, I can give you an option to provide url of your server which should be pointing to the game files directory. The file structure of that directory has the be exactly the same as taken from game. If you can provide such data source, it will work.

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
That's no problem I'll create a folder for OOB. What should be in it besides units.csv ? graphics folder with unit.png...
shall the root be Order of Battle - WW2_64_Data\Content.. (like the game folder) or Mods\Admiral...thingy?

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
This is the current folder structure with all needed game files. Files on your server need to match this structure and all the files.Admiral_Horthy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 23, 2018 10:52 am That's no problem I'll create a folder for OOB. I can introduce a fallback rule, so when you don't provide your file, standard file will be used instead. Do your files contain all the units or just your mod specific modifications?

Re: Unit Navigator Tool
I put the files together, plus the stock files which I don't have modded. What's next? Shall I give a URL... not sure what should it be. The server needs login, actually..
Re: Unit Navigator Tool
The files have to be publicly accessible. Please send me the link to those files once they are public. I can then use them to develop the feature.
