Hi,
I would like to play but I don't see anyone from Poland or Sweden (I'm a Pole living in Sweden). I can also play for European mixed team.

If someone is assembling a team please contact me :)

Hi there

Thanks for the entry and wondering how did you find us?

There will be no team from Sweden, as 2 players did not wish to enter. gribol (Tomasz) is Polish and has entered but nobody else from Poland. It would mean you may be part of a European team, a Rest of the World team or be placed in a reserve pool. This pool can be used by any team if they need a replacement.

Cheers

WTC Agenda 2023 - 20 teams

Post by ericdoman1 »

Field of Glory II - World Team Championships 2023

Greetings Gentlemen

Hopefully you have now a team name and team emblem, created your teams, who is playing in what period and who is your captain and have posted these details on https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=112861

Also have your army and ally choices nearly ready. Do not post this information yet. We would require these by the 7th September, 8th at the very latest

The main draw will take place on the 7th September, mid afternoon. UK time.

It will appear ( I believe) on https://www.slitherine.com/news

Group Stage

10th September to 29th October

4 groups of 5 teams.

All games to be played, simultaneously over a 7 week period

Only 1 team from one nation will play in each group of 5 teams. So you will not have 2 or even 3 teams of the same nation playing in the same group. This excludes ROTW teams.

Top 2 from each group go through to KO stage

Knockout Stage (based on all group games to be played in 7 weeks)

Each KO round will be 17 days.

Quarter Final

30th October to 16 November

Semi Final

17 November to 4 December

Final

5 December to 22 December

Cheers

Mike, Angus and Eric

Thanks to tyronec for his input and to Questar17 for volunteering as well

Hi there,

New to the WTC. Any chance of joining a team at this late stage? Happy to make up numbers in European or ROTW team! :)

Hi Gary

Thanks for the reply. Where did you find us?

Possibly too late to play but we have until 8th September so you never know.

Worst case scenario is that you will be placed in a reserves pool. If any body has to drop out that team can then choose a player from the pool to take over.

Cheers

I saw message on FoG Discord channel. I'm playing in Slitherine tournaments from December last year and have fun. I have better results in Medieval ones though

Hi Richard

Maybe, maybe not. If we can find another 3 players we will be able to have 20 teams, with a reserve pool of 4.

I think with a bit of tweaking etc we should still be able to make 20 teams, with a reserve pool of 4 or more.

Cheers

Hi All

Please post your team, who plays in what period, team name and logos.

The logos for WTC 2021 were "awesome".

I have the honor to introduce our French team, MONTJOIE, the logo and our brave companions.

The captain will be frederic02 ( i m occult graphic designer advisor ).

Our battle cry: Montjoie ! Saint Denis !
