Best Mods for PC1?
I just decided to return to PC1 after a long hiatus, because (unlike PC2) I can play it on my laptop. In the past, I played PC1 on my iPad, so I never played any of the mods. Now I can. Where should I start? Thanks!

Re: Best Mods for PC1?
First of all, welcome back to this amazing game!
Which mod to start with? Wow, there are so many great mods worthy of your attention. It depends on the sort of thing you're after really as there is a massive variety. Rather than picking one for you, I would suggest looking through the Scenario Design forum at the threads for the mods as most have descriptions of the mod at the top of the thread that can help you choose, and of course you can ask questions about specific mods. Have fun!

Re: Best Mods for PC1?
Nikkivdd's mods are very enjoyable - MPC and his early soviet ones are very good, as is the 50 US states tour and Alternative Eastern Campaign.
These are more like everyday scenarios than BE but still a good mix of challenge and light relief.
Almost all have exit hexes, which can make for some interesting twists - for a bit of amusement and unwinding I have been trying to see how many auxiliary units I can evacuate while still getting DVs. In 1943 East, my Romanian collection was around corps size (too big to be fielded in a single unit) even though a bit of poor decision making cost me about five infantry units in one battle.
Because the mix of troops for auxiliary units is not what I'd choose, it's a good opportunity to try out units or mixes of troops I otherwise might not try.

Re: Best Mods for PC1?
From Nikivdd I have seen Soviet Grand Campaign 37-42. What is MPC?
I know he has remade the Gerold Treitler PG campaign in PC.
My shortlist to explore, probably a multi year effort...
Battlefield Europe - McGuba
-Soviet Grand Campaign 37-42 Nikivdd
-GTPG Campaign - Nikivdd
-Market Garden Campaign - Erik
-SS GTPG Campaign - Nikivdd Airbornmongo
-Eastern Front Soviet Storm - Akkula
-Red Dawn - El Condoro
-Deducter GC

Re: Best Mods for PC1?
I wonder if there is some sort of list or registry of all mods on the forum?
