Original Panzer General was on PS1, not sure what you're getting at. It would require a different UI setup but it's a workable port just a matter of want in development and if they think it will make profit.

You dont have a mouse, and you dont have a keyboard. I am using so many shortcuts, would be a nightmare to "click" on all the buttons with a controller.
Nothing is more annoying for me than a poorly adapted console game on pc.

Order of Battle, another game by Slitherine, very similar to Panzer Corps 2, is also available on Xbox/PS, I play it on Xbox and it works great. It might seem unplayable to you personally but that does not mean that's an objective observation nor that Console players should be deprived of the opportunity to play and make those decisions for themselves.

I gave you examples, Panzer General (the godfather of Panzer Corps) was on PS1. Order of Battle WW2 by Slitherine which is a similar game, also on console. Can you read or did you purposely ignore them.

How? Both are Hex based beer and pretzel wargames. Differences in certain mechanics but the games are definitely somewhat related/similar and made by the same developers as well (Slitherine)

Slitherine is the publisher, not the developer... maybe you should check out their store infos at least before replying my post.

I agree 100%. Panzer General on the PS1 is what got me started on the series back in 1995 I think I and been playing them ever since. I would love to see Panzer General 2 on the Xbox.

First games probably were based on stones and wood. I see no reason to go 3 steps back, just because a 20 years old game was released for kids on console.

I wouldnt play PZ2 on my PS. But if there are enough ppl who want to play on console and buy it, i dont see any problem in a console version.

Its the same with the sound problem. Some people want better (authetic) ingame sounds for the game. I for my part dont need other/better soundeffects.
But hey if the people are happy with new sounds, why not ? To be honest, i would even buy a sound dlc, just to support the game/devs.


btw i still hope for flavor dlcs for pc2 (zombie sknis!!!)

What are you talking about? Of course Consoles have Mouse & Keyboard support, have been for years. I play for example Age of Empires 2 & 4 all the time with Xbox Series X and it's awesome. It's 1:1 as it is on a PC, expect in my case it's a lot better on a Console while the PC is so old and doesn't run it so well. For those who want there is also a Controller support, but it's up to you which to use. I prefer M&KB for that game, while it's RTS.

Hope to see this game on a Console too some day_AND with a M&KB Support.

Why would you put Mouse & Keyboard on a console? Its like putting spoilers and other tuning stuff on horse cart.
