Was nearly caught in a Cannae style envelopment but a deep stream that ran the length of the map allowed my units to delay the flanking wings long enough to prevent it closing.

The Babylonians withdrew their right flank against a chariot onslaught, advanced their left, and made use of a large central enclosure. However, the Syrians softened their opponents with firepower and moved fast to secure the enclosure with the infantry. We had a enjoyable game with plenty of tense moments.
