Thanks, GAvin, for this. I will join in. Pro Ming.
I'll have to get an eye test! All good now.
CHANGES
  • GDod changed to anti-Ming,
  • Alan added to Ming.
  • Ownership of Shanghai and Shangdong changed to be more equitable for Alan.
  • Added historical personalities
  • Just awaiting anyone else interested, otherwise we'll be good to go
Clarification on posting a challenge:- Challenger posts challenge siting army they will use and province. Challenged player accepts challenge siting army they will use and sets up the challenge.

I'll add you in with the next map update Dave. Hopefully, we'll get another player interested in the next 10 days to even things up.

I think Large armies are a good compromise between an inmersive army size and what's more engaging to actually play, but if the rest also prefers Very Large armies, then that will be

You're very welcome fybyyn. That rounds the numbers nicely. New map and player list to come. :D

Latest map.
  • Five players on each side.
  • Anti-Ming have an extra province, which seems fair, as Ming have an extra fortress.
  • Please note new colours and provinces as these may have changed.
  • Voting on extra large armies is slow. So, don't forget to vote 8 days to go.

I think 'very large' gives more interesting options, so that is my vote.

I've been quite fond of the very large chinese armies in FOG2 Med. I'm finding them quite satisfying as you purchase troop types you wouldn't normally take. Although, they take a little longer, they make for closer and more enjoyable games.

I vote for very large armies.

Amendments
  • The majority prefer "very large armies, wide terrain"
  • Please re-read attacking your own faction. If challenger looses, they forfeit all provinces to the challenged. Previous versions had this the wrong way round.
  • Corrected ownership of Beijing, which was incorrectly transposed on progress record.
  • Okie may be joining us. Not yet confirmed. While the number of provinces each side will remain the same, province ownership may change slightly.
