AKvGoeben (Normans) defeats IMC (Irish) 31-60.

Unforunately, a mostly open map for the Irish. Many of the mounted Norman knights were isolated and surrounded but sadly not enough and the devasting charges won out over the Irish numerical superiority.

Somewhat messy fight in which both sides did better on their respective left wings. Ultimately, the mass of crossbowmen, and in particular the combined pavisiers and crossbowmen decided the fight in favour of the Genoese.

Div D AKvGoeben looks to have it. Just two games left, closely fought division - good to see everyone winning some games.

Mairtin, Berber(Almohad) 1121-1269AD drew with random27, Navarrese 1155-1299AD: 61-66

A real see-saw battle, in which I lost the early skirmish, and with the lead swapping several times. The final act was a Navarrese general and his knights, pursuing into the rear of my already engaged archers at the beginning of my turn, breaking my army too. A thoroughly fitting end to a great game

heidipie defeated wzcfns 42 to 62 the longbows decimated the irish as they left the safety of the bogs and then the heavy horse did its part......but on other flank , irish did the job so was closer then score suggests'

Both these matches were a race to 60% and very close, but the Austrians got the upper hand each time. Well played and thanks for the game.

Triarii (Venetian colonial) defeats random27(Cypriot) 60-36%

Like the mirror (not quite closed off) a tough game but Venetian mercenary men at arms with pesky oarsmen and missile troops were able to overwhelm the better quality Cypriots. Almost mirror successful tactics from my opponent and I too.
Thanks for two good games - the other and my final result to be posted by my opponent in one or two moves I think.
