Re: Rise and Fall of the Shun Dynasty Campaign
Okie... You've set up Joseon vs Qing. It should be Southern Ming vs Qing. I've set it up for us using same password pw = fight

Okie from Taiwan using anti-Ming Quing 1636-1700, challenge Carsomyr for Shanghi
Re: Rise and Fall of the Shun Dynasty Campaign
I'll allow the challenge as Okie should be able to challenge more than one opponent in his first turn. Therefore, a new sea-route from Taiwan to Shanghei is now available. Both players please note the special rules for a fortress challenge.
- First phase is an open battle, very large armies, wide map, agricultural
- If the defender loses then the siege of the fortress begins
- This is an attack/defend game, small battle, narrow map, hilly

Re: Rise and Fall of the Shun Dynasty Campaign
I'm sorry but I assumed that all provinces from one end of the line to the other were those I could challenge.
This is the only challenge I have made.
My battle with GDod was his challnge to me.

It's fine Okie. The challenge has been allowed.
Luckily, Xu Xiake' the renowned Ming explorer had recently made a visit to your court with his latest navigational chart of the area between Taiwan and Shanghai.

Re: Rise and Fall of the Shun Dynasty Campaign
Good point Brian. Don't worry, I've already assumed they're Manchu under the leadership of the traitorous Ming generals!

Latest News from the Ming Mail
It is with pleasure that Liu Zongmin, loyal general to our true emperor Zhu Youjian, can now report an overwhelming victory over the traitorous Hong Chengchou. The victorious Ming forces inflicted a devastating 46% loss to the Manchu host for the loss of 20% (mainly replaceable smelly peasant milita), though I was last seen deep in a forest trying to rally my cowardly horse!
Unfortunately, Hong Chengchou (Okie) is now free to challenge our Ming majesty and his loyal generals provinces with Jurchen Bannermen, Eastern or Western Mongols, or Joseon (Gulp!)

Re: Rise and Fall of the Shun Dynasty Campaign
Reports are filtering through of victory for the Ming in Sichuan. The massed artillery and firepower of the Ming reduced the Qing to 44-17, but only just in time as most Ming infantry units were then disrupted or fragmented. Phew.
Well done to Changdao for playing aggressively and boldly.
